I knew that the producers wanted her to be on DS9 but not Voyager as well.

She'd of gotten pushed to the background on Voyager after the Doctor and Seven of Nine took prominence. That pretty much happened to everybody else, B'Leanna, Tom, Tuvok, Harry Kim, I mean they were still highly shown but they didn't have much of a storyline because there was nowhere for their characters to go growth wise in comparison.

And I sure wouldn't have wanted her to be in that traitor's Seska's place.

If they brought Ro in that means one of the cast members would not have been hired. I'm guessing it would have been B'Leanna.

Ensign Ro

Image result for star trek ensign ro

Watching season 5 now and episode 3 introduces Ro. Always liked her on the show. With Yar and Wesly Crusher gone it felt like they needed another cast member. She was a strong female and liked her on the bridge.

Forbes was later approached to reprise the character of Ro on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, but she declined because she did not want a regular television role at the time; Nana Visitor's role of Kira Nerys was scripted as a replacement. Forbes was also offered the chance to return on Star Trek: Voyager, but again turned it down.

I've always liked her. But I really like Nana too as Nerys.

Honestly I would have liked to see her on DS9 and watched her character developed. If she did take the role I'm guessing should would not be first officer since she is just an Ensign. I'm guessing Dax may have been first officer instead since the show wanted a female in the role of first officer. I always had this feeling Michelle Forbes did not want to be stuck in Star Trek.

Glad they replaced Larry Lemecek with Chuck Huber. Larry was the weak link. Chuck Huber looks and sounds more like McCoy

Well Seska was Bajoran, so I'm not so sure, they could have gone a few ways. I think B'Leanna gave us a Klingon/Human individual which makes it canon now so she may have been an intentional character.

Well Seska was really a Cardassian. Seska was meant as a temporary secondary character, and that was not what they wanted for Ro. I doubt they would have 4 female cast members. Since Ro is a female Alien with attitude I doubt they would also have a female Klingon/human as well.

Hmm, I've liked what they've done with B'Leanna's story line. Got some insight on the Klingon Gre'thor, or the splitting of her 2 sides. I think DS9 did so much exploring of Bajor and their culture, where would it go on Voyager?

First of all love B'Leanna. But it seems the producers of Star Trek really wanted Michelle Forbes to do a series, that's why when she passed on DS9 they offered her another chance with Voyager (which I didn't know about until now). Honestly DS9 would of been a better fit. But if Michelle Forbes would have agree to do Voyager the show would be some what different. First of all Torres and Paris is a combination of Ro. Ro is a Female alien with an attitude (Torres) and Ro is also an ex convict/pilot with attitude (Paris). So with that said I don't think they would have Tom Paris as an ex convict who star fleet recruits to help tracks down the Marquis. Instead more than likely Star fleet recruits Ro who knows the members of the Marquis. Now if they stay with the same cast (minus Torres, sorry but the Torres character came about only because Michelle Forbes passed on the series, once again I like Torres). I see Ro as the Pilot of the ship, not Paris. Can't picture Paris in engineering but head of security. Thus Tuvok would be chief engineer. Once again that is a what if Michelle Forbes would have agree to do Voyager.

eek I'm glad they didn't, we'd of hated Jeri.

STLV17: Marina Sirtis Says Paramount Threatened To Replace Her With Jeri Ryan For ‘Star Trek: Nemesis’

One moment that stood was out when a fan asked a question to the women in the group about why they have talked about having difficult contract negotiations when you don’t hear the men in the cast make the same complaint. Marina Sirtis was quick to respond saying “Women are paid less than men in Hollywood, like everywhere else.” The actress then recalled a story she says she has never spoken about before:

When I was negotiating for [Star Trek:] Nemesis they literally threatened to fire me and recast Troi, well not actually recast, but they said “We are going to fire you and hire Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine from Star Trek Voyager).” And I said “Well Jeri Ryan won’t do it for that money, that is for sure.”

This Borg Cube makes your computer irrelevant - CNET
This Borg Cube makes your computer irrelevant

CNETSean Hollister · Aug 5, 2017

No, it's not the onlyglowing cube PC you can buy.

But it might be the only one that will attempt to absorb your humanity into its cybernetic collective mind. This is the Borg Cube, an officially licencedStar Trek computer with a rather distinct chassis. And it's not just about the looks: This PC seems remarkably small considering the potent components you'll find inside. (Disclosure: Star Trek owner CBS is also CNET's parent company.)

According to its creators, the "Borg CubeVR" gaming PC you see above will measure just 12 inches (30.5cm) on a side, and a smaller Borg Cube targeted at media centers will be an eighth the size at 6" x 6" x 6".

Intriguingly, they also tell CNET what you're seeing isn't just a plastic shell around a metal frame -- they claim to have created an interlocking design where the walls themselves can act as the structure of the chassis.

The Borg Cube comes in two sizes.
Martin Roth/CherryTree

They're both limited-edition items, unfortunately. To commemorate the battle of Wolf 359 (where the Borg destroyed the Federation armada), they'll be selling just 359 units of each model, in the US and Europe, starting on September 26, right here.

Prices start at $599 (roughly £460 or AU$755) for the entry-level model with a Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD, and it sounds like the sky's the limit for the Borg CubeVR, which will feature up to 2 GPUs, a water-cooled 22-core Xeon processor, 64GB of RAM and room for six SSDs.

When it comes to Actors/Actress I think they are ALL OVERPAID. Tired of hearing how they work long hours and suffer from exhaustion (which is not a real illness) They spend most of their time in their nice fancy trailers. Only rich famous people suffer from exhaustion. I know many people who work double shifts and mulitple jobs plus they don't have hired help who handles their home life needs like Actors do. OK with that said, can't picture Jeri Ryan in Nemesis since it dealt with the Vulcans/Romulans and that other race related to the Romulans, can't think of their name now.

The Gary 7 character seem like Star Trek's version of Dr. Who (and yes Dr. Who started before Star Trek). Seem like they wanted to make a spin off with Gary 7, maybe it fell through because it might have seem to much like Dr. Who

Wow, check out her bio-

She was charged with attempted murder, after she allegedly shot her husband of 25 years, Bruce Rathgeb, from close range in their Hollywood apartment on October 16, 2010. On September 7, 2011, after pleading no contest to charges of attempted voluntary manslaughter, she was sentenced to nine years in prison.

Yup it's true, she is Incarcerated in the Central California Women's Facility (CCWF) in Chowchilla, California. [February 2013]. She got 9 years so with good behavior she could get parole in 3 years, which means she could be out by now.

Wikipedia wrote - Victoria Vetri (born September 26, 1944; a.k.a. Angela Dorian and Victoria Rathgeb) is an American model and actress.

Vetri was charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting Rathgeb from close range inside the Hollywood apartment they were sharing at the time after an argument on Saturday, October 16, 2010.[7]

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division arrested Vetri that day. She was jailed on US$1.53 million bail. The judge refused to reduce it, pending the trial. In January 2011, the judge also denied her attorney's request for a reduction of the charge of attempted murder. She was ordered to stand trial on that charge.[8]

Between January and September 2011, the charge against Vetri was reduced to attempted voluntary manslaughter. She entered a plea of no contest. The judge sentenced her to nine years in state prison
