How many of you are superstitious?

Does it rule your day or do you care?

Me, I am in some ways, but not all..

For example:

I DO open umbrellas indoors! My Mum had a shop which sold them so I had to open them to test them out...

I DON'T throw salt over my shoulder if I spill any..

Black Cats don't bother me, I don't really understand that one though..is it lucky if they cross your path or unlucky?

Magpies : One for sorrow, two for joy etc...I have to salute a magpie and wish him good day! Damn! That was my friends fault!

I DO put new shoes on the table - part of my job I am afraid..

13 isn't really unlucky for me but Friday 13th It didn't usually bother me but now I am 'AWARE'

If I see an ambulance I touch something white and make a wish

If I break a mirror I believe I will have 7 years bad luck, shit, I must have broken a few in the past

Yesterday was a day in History. Read at the forum "Politic&Religion" and that is the lottery number who wons here in Spain: 006669 serie 55 . I am not superstitios,but sometimes are coincidneces to close so reality.

My girlfriend is VERY superstitious about "splitting poles."

Supposedly, if a couple are walking and allow the pole to seperate them momentarilty, it means they will break up eventually.

My superstition is that superstition brings you bad luck.

When a train goes by put your feet up... suppose to bring good luck!

If there is a lady bug in your house that is also a sign of good luck!

Ok, I have been made redundant, yet still on Gardening leave, I walked into an art shop to buy a portfolio for interviews, the man in the shop said he had been made redundant 3 times but he is so glad he had been as he has found a job he enjoys, more money and is much happier so it was a blessing in disguise. I felt more confident and relaxed, and when I walked out the shop with my purchases both me and my sister saw a big sign next door, that said "POSITIVE THINKING" we both said "wierd" at the same time, then we both talked about that film with Salma Hayyek (sp?) lol and Matthew Perry "Fools Rush In" when the priest tells Matthew that there are signs, signs everywhere..me and my sis do say and think the same things at the same time, but then we laughed and said "wierd" again...Then I got shivers in my right leg, and when I told her - she had too!
