It's an anthology series. The first season is their story, if it gets renewed it will be another True Crime story for the second season.

I'm guessing the BBC then??? I really like Merlin when it was on. I really like Doctor Who.

Sherlock is probably the only thing I watch on BBC. Now that I think about it, I'm paying 140 euro per month to Sky for pretty much every available channel, and I don't even watch TV... Even shows like Gotham and Agents of Shield, I never watch them on TV because we're nearly a season behind over here. So I download them after they air in the states, that way I stay up to date. I'm definitely cancelling that sky subscription tomorrow.

I guess I saved you some money then?

Not only did you save me money, but in order to keep me as a customer they're giving me a 40 euro reduction in the price, as well as a new Sky Q 2tb box which allows for 4K video content. I suppose I'm still paying for something I'll seldom use, but at least when I DO use it, I'll have ultra HD picture. smile

The only network show I watch is The Big Bang Theory. And that one's jumped the shark. lol

I knew someone was going to jump up and mention this show. For me, it's so one-note and dull. I literally can't change the channel fast enough when it comes on, either on CBS or in syndication somewhere. Hey, to each his own.

I'm most disappointed that The Real O'Neals was canceled. It was a sweet show, that had a humorous take on a Catholic family dealing with divorce, and a child coming out, and another (the jock) fighting an eating disorder. To me, it coupled well with The Goldbergs, Fresh Off The Boat, and The Middle.

I don't watch much television actually. We watch The Middle most times. I watched Goldberg and FOTB early on, but I gave up on them. Never got into 2BG.

To be fair, a handful of those shows ended their series on purpose, rather than being suddenly cut off in the middle of their run. Bones, Grimm, The Vampire Diaries to name a few. I heard Prison Break wasn't going to be a long series anyway, so if it's not picked up again, I wouldn't be surprised. But I hope this season ends with some sort of resolution when it gets there.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

These days it's better to end a season finale with a potential series finale just in case a show gets cancelled. Law and Order: Criminal Intent did it and I'm okay with the final episode ending the way it did. BTW the makers of Law and Order need to stop trying to make new series--they've run out of ideas. The new Law and Order series dramatizing over-exposed media cases like the Menendez brothers is ridiculous. Time to give it up. confused

Well I liked this show as well ABC pulled it off the air after 5 episodes. According to IMDB they shot 12 episodes. My complaint is that on my prime time demand ABC is only showing the 5 episodes in which they aired. If there are 12 episodes why not put them on prime time demand?

spit Good one! I think NBC has their fill of Chicago shows! razz lol The L&O series needs to wrap up the whole thing with giving L&O: SVU a great 20th year final season, involving the original cast members, and give it a good final send-off.

I haven't seen Star Trek outside of the first 10 episodes of TOS. Does this qualify as a parody of TNG?

I'm watching! Oh, yeah!

Yeah, it's ST inspired but it's a combination of other shows too and seems to have it's own flavor.
