You know, I think I'm getting old, because such things really aren't that big of a deal to me. I mean the major problem is that people simply don't communicate, bunk whether a handful of words are used properly, how about just using words period. It's a pet peeve I have at work. People act like they're going to get burnt at the stake if they talk to other people.

this is the attitude of most folks

and they are so out of it that they

can't see it as bein the prollum...

it really ain't about 'the words'

it's more about the short attention

span of the people who have now

learned to accept bein swayed because

they have accepted bein damaged through

language... language is the precursor to

intellect and lack of unnastandin language

breeds ig'nance...

Comedy, at its best, challenges our ways of thinking. George Denis Patrick Carlin was an American comedian, writer, social critic and actor who did exactly that.

There's a difference between being half-azzed and not giving a damn, basically sloping something at people (which I agree happens a lot); and being tediously sticklerish just to nitpick at something for the sake of nitpicking. This particular thing just came off to me as being overly tedious and nitpicky. Critizing people because they're not using the proper Oxford/Webster sanctioned standard of speaking is just annoying to be annoying not communicating. You are a perfect example. You say some damned common sense things without all the proper king's english, you communicate an idea quite well.

i don't care how people talk either...

i hera people who have extremely large

vocabularies that doesn't stop their bein

gulible (which is really what the vid is about)

usin words with the thought that that's what

the word means is ig'nant. usin it in a manner

because it's accepted by the masses is the state

of western culture and the media is shapin the

culture (because that's who people trust)

i speak ig'nantly by design. folks who speak in

the manner that i do can't afford ig'nance because

it's easily detected (and the reason folks have

the idea that folks that speak thusly lack a

vocabulary)...
