The movie "Corrina Corrina"

Just wondering if yall'd seen this movie? I thought it was Amazing when I saw it, I love it to this day! And leaving everything else aside - the MUSIC!! The lady singing "Over the Rainbow" in the restaurant is Jevetta Steele, right? She's one of Prince's backing singers, right?

What're you guys thoughts about this movie?? (It's hard to believe it's now *23* years old!!!)

Pain does not discrimanate. The loss of the little girls mom kept her from speaking...even to her father, until Whoopie. I enjoyed the scene while they were in the car and every traffic light turned green at just the blow of air from their lips. Cool movie.

One of my favorite Whoopi movies. Nice screen play, good acting, and I enjoyed the chemistry between Whoopi and Ray Liotta. Whoopi is such a singular talent that she didn't always find the right movie vehicle to suit her. This one did. And so did Sister Act which I didn't think I would like but I did.

Great....that is all. <3 Seriously, it's a fantastic film. When Whoopi brings the little girl back to 'life' after her mother's passing...beautifully done.

The Steeles did some work with Prince, but Jevetta was not one of his featured bg vox on tour just on record with the rest of the Steeles
