A lot of us gays will say "I'm more woman than you've ever had, and more man that you'll ever be." So yeah, I've sung it. haha

I used to say I hated that women always got the great anthems. "I Will Survive", "Strong Enough", "I'm Every Woman", etc. You don't hear men having big chest-pounding anthems singing "I've got a huge dick, yeah! I'm fucking your mom!" hahaha

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Love it is so cool, not problem whatsover singing outloud, i like Whitney's version a little more. If you can't sing this song outloud, it means you are a very insecure man.

I can honestly say no. Mostly because it's not really my favorite song by Chaka Khan. I sing more along to her other songs such as "Sweet Thing" "Through The Fire" "Ain't Nobody" and Prince's "I Feel For You"

Hell to the naw! I'm with Batman. It's not one of my favorties by her.

I prefer her stuff with Rufus to her solo songs. I do like Clouds, I Feel For You,

Whatcha gonna do for me.

Another man rule: Do not play Diana Ross around your homies. no no no!

You would lose all your cool points. lol

There are Kid Rock songs that are exactly as you describe but they're awful, which will come as no surprise. The closest thing I can think of to a "man anthem" is Bon Jovi's Last Man Standing. That's a pretty good song. But you're right, there's very few songs for straight white men. There are, however, a lot of gay anthems that are good. And I'm not talking about the village people nonsense. Check out George Michael's An Easier Affair.

Not to delve into racial stuff, but I don't think it's a black/white thing. I'm talking just female vs. male. And I couldn't agree more about "An Easier Affair". I wish it had become a bigger song. I was begging for a remix, one of those anthemic dance songs like the ones we've listed before.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I was being a bit sarcastic with the straight white men comment, like the biggest problem they have is that they don't have they're own "pride songs". Which obviously isn't true but for the purposes of the joke, I thought I'd say it anyway. smile

Yeah, I love that GM song. Then again, I love most GM songs..

Aww come on now .... it's perfectly okay to play Ain't No Mountain High Enough.

Hell, look at the four macho guys that are even dancing to it:
