My brave little 5yo girl had to go in to hospital for a minor operation this morning.

She has had recurrent ear infections due to a build up of "muck" in her ears. As a result she had ninor surgery this morning to put in "gromits" (sp?) which help the ears to drain.

She is fine and came out of the aneasthetic (sp?) well. She was really, really brave and her daddy is very proud. biggrin

Just thought I'd share.

oh my. this really brings back memories. i had the exact same trouble when i was a kid. went through the surgery and all.

good luck to your little sweetie bkw!

Aww... she was a very brave little girl! I'm glad you both got through it okay... it's hard on parents when our children have to go through things like this... we really have to be brave too!

That's wonderful, bkw! I was in the emergency room A LOT as a kid. I'm sure knowing her daddy was there to support her helped a lot.
