My brave little girl!

My brave little 5yo girl had to go in to hospital for a minor operation this morning.

She has had recurrent ear infections due to a build up of "muck" in her ears. As a result she had ninor surgery this morning to put in "gromits" (sp?) which help the ears to drain.

She is fine and came out of the aneasthetic (sp?) well. She was really, really brave and her daddy is very proud. biggrin

Just thought I'd share.

We call them tubes here, it's probably just a slang version of the actual name.

She sounds like such a little trooper! What a good girl.

I used to get over ten a year from age five to about 12 or thirteen, when puberty stopped. They would come right back if I went off Augmentin (the antibiotic they made me take... it tasted horrible). I was growing too fast and they couldn't tube me. I even have minor hearing loss because of the problems. It's good to hear she could get the "gromits". biggrin

yay!
Oh shit, my hat done fell off

Hopefully this will solve the problem for your little sweetie. It's amazing how much we can learn and feel from the simplicity and purness of a child isn't it? She sounds like she has a great Daddy too!
