Every time someone says Titanic is boring I just assume they aren't capable of enjoying a movie that doesn't have John Wayne, Jean-Claude Van Damme or Stephen Segal in it.

Same as whitneys I'll always love you.
i can listen to both songs in their respective movies just not the singles by themselves boxed

seems that i was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before music beret

There's nothing wrong with a bit of Van Damme!

My ill will is directed towards people that don't like to watch anything without action, not to the actors. Anything without is a chick flick according to their girlfriends. bored2

I had a few 'classics' I hadn't seen so last year I started working my way through Empire Magazine's 301 greatest movies of all time (published in 2014) to start ticking off the ones I'd missed.

Its been quite fun and its inspired me to watch films I might not have looked at otherwise. Only a couple I didn't really enjoy so far. Plus its an instant answer to the Friday night, what film do you wanna watch question, which can be a struggle in our household!

No shame there, you're not missing all that much.

I like it, I wouldn't consider it a classic, or for that matter, a top-tier Scorcese film.

Ottensen

Great Gatsby (Baz Luhrman version)

...oh! and The Notebook.

Can we have a thread about a famous movie you wasted your time seeing and really could have done without? Because at the top of my list would have been that gawd awful "50 Shades of Grey". It was stupid and not even remotely sexy...although the set design was nice lol

It's the music and not seeing the shark. "suspense"

Just as the pyscho scene in the shower. We don't see anyone getting stabbed, but scary as heck.
