I don't think we're meant to know who we were in past lives - anyone claiming to have knowledge of being Cleopatra or Abe Lincoln in a previous life is full of it (and it's always those two, isn't it? those two musta had enough soul for EVERYBODY, ha)...but I believe there are young souls and old souls, and we learn what we learn for a later use. Yup. Just makes sense to me. | |

my biggest fear is being reincarnated as an adorable calf in a veal factory: "For a veal calf slaughtered at 5 or 6 months old to be eligible for premium, the carcass must weigh less than 160 kilograms. Veal carcasses are to be weighed after skinning, evisceration and bleeding, without the head or the feet but with the liver, kidneys and kidney fat."
i hope that i would at least be able to retain some knowledge i gained in this life: veal tastes damn good, 'specially with some white-trash breadcrumbs and shit, godDAMN, i'm hungry now. poor cute little malnourished, filth-and-diarrhea-caked calf. I have a theory about reincarnation...
I think it's one of the ways that phobias are 'made' For example... If you die falling off a bridge or something like that, in the next life you will have a fear of heights. If you die from drowning, in your next life you will be afraid of water. If you are killed by an animal, in your next life you could have a fear of that particular animal, or animals in general. It *kinda* makes sense  | |

moderatorOne of my biggest fears is being reincarnated as a tree -- beautiful, big, strong, but totally frozen.
Imagine animals pissing on you or pissibly dying and rotting in your branches; people carving their initials in you; enduring the extreme elements; not being able to communicate or engage in fun activities; etc. for possibly well over 100 years... and you couldn't even commit suicide.
