Where do you stand?Do we really come here seeking knowledge and a better understanding of ourselves or others?Or is it a sounding board because your not heard or are unwilling to give your true opinions elsewhere?And finally is it ego,plain and simple?

For me its a little of each I guess.This is the first forum,except for computer/tech sites,that I've posted on.I stumbled upon this site while looking for this porn site,lol.This site is more addictive than cigarettes and just as much smoke is blown but you gotta love it.

all 3 of the things you mention certainly factor into it.

there's a lot more to it, though.

boredom. addiction. the fact that i've been here for 6.5 years already, so... it's sort of like "home" on the internet. a homebase that i always return to. since the advent of the orgnote, it's a good way to communicate with people you know are here or will be here soon, instead of going through email. it's not only the deeper level of communicating ideas, and with each other, but it's also entertainment. there's some funny ass shit on here. and if you want to get angry about something, and vent, there's most likely a thread here that'll get your rocks off that way.

and many other things, but... eh. i don't want it to go to the org's head.

Org is a platform to show off my shallow attempts to deeper meaning.

Like "Would Fhunkin be a good kisser?"
or
"Would Aaron like another song about his gorgeous self?"
