My kids have all grown up

And life revolves around them more than ever b4
I just can't keep up
It's weird because i always imagined having nothing to do when they would b this age - but Its the complete opposite

I can't remember putting so much pressure on my parents to do things for me ,
But my kids r always on their computers and phones and r very lazy!

Am I the only parent going through this?

My daughter is still quite young, she's just finishing up her first year of school, so I still have all that to look forward to. I'm not anticipating much problems when she's older though. Fair enough, she's only 5 but she helps me out a lot already when I'm doing housework and such. Now, I normally end up having to redo everything she does but she tries.
And it's probably BECAUSE I'm expecting very little trouble with her that I'm really going to get it in the neck when she's older. Knowing my luck, she'll probably turn out to be a complete terror. smile

There is a generational problem with youngsters and their view of the world. It's definitely a first-world issue, as they really have no cares nor concerns AND we coddle them.

I want to make plans to take mine to Honduras next year "on vacation" and show them how the other half lives...make them a bit more grateful and considerate of the things that they have.

My FUCKING ASS. The people who have it easy are the rich kids here in India!! Kids in the West have it MUCH harder.
