I'd go with Bodhi before I choose this, I think. Yea, I didn't download Bodhi to half of dozen VPR Matrix desktop computers... smooth sailing except, YouTube videos.

...sorry - you DIDN'T? What did you do then? (what's a "VPR Matrix computer"?)

Matrix "no-name" laptop / desktop computer brand that lasted for a minute. Matrix computers cam out ( I think) when Windows XP made its debut. I was told Matrix was another one of HP's bastard computer brand, I can't vouch for that. Yea, I never heard of them either, a guy donated a dozen of the desktop to our "geek squad", Bodhi Llinux was the only thing these computers would work with. Elivec Linux was a bit too "primitive" for my taste... I'd go with Bodhi Linux before I'd choose that distro. (IMHO)

Well, be that as it may, it's STILL pretty sexy, and I think fans of a guy that did something like the Interactive CD-ROM and all those cool websites, would do WELL to use it. AND - there's a message on their site saying something about needing a donation, and a new cool version out in a week!! - a Hearty Exhortation: Please, Org, use this thing, it'll do you good, for God's sake. And while you're at it, a couple of bucks sent their way would do a World Of Good. How about half of what you gave Billy Goats for Win10?

Oh, I don't have an issues with giving these Linux developers some money. If the group behind this Distro make strides in making their Linux Distro better, cheers. I still don't think its ready for prime time. Yet, everybody has to start somewhere don't they?
I'm testing Ubuntu Bungie Remix now on my decade old laptop... a few glitches (boot-up time has some quirks) but its speedy, My decade old HP (OS Vista) model wasn't running Linux Mint XFCE 18.1 smoothly at all. I guess my decades old computer is getting old in the tooth, even for Mint. I'll probably have to go back to Linux Mint XFCE 17.3. or maybe Bodhi, though I hate the Moksha Desktop. I'm going to purchase a System 76 laptop, Lemur, sometime in the spring.

..why do you hate Moksha?? -curious- I always thought it was Super Awesome! Have you REALISED that you don't have to go down to the bottom left every time for the Start Menu?
