The Expanse

I love it. Love it. Loooove it.

I kinda like it a whole lot.


The Expanse is an American space opera/mystery science fiction drama television series on Syfy, based on the series of novels by James S. A. Corey.

Two hundred years in the future, in a fully colonized Solar System, police detective Josephus Miller (Thomas Jane), born on Ceres in the asteroid belt, is given the assignment to find a missing young woman, Juliette "Julie" Andromeda Mao (Florence Faivre). Meanwhile, James Holden (Steven Strait), the Executive Officer of the ice hauler Canterbury, is involved in a tragic incident that threatens to destabilize the uneasy peace between Earth, Mars and the Belt. On Earth, Chrisjen Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo), a United Nations executive, works to prevent war between Earth and Mars by any means necessary. Soon, the three find out that the missing woman and the ice hauler's fate are part of a vast conspiracy that threatens all humanity.

i don't have SyFy but i bet i can watch it through Amazon. thanks for the tip! sounds pretty cool, just the kind of show i love.

Been looking for some good science fiction/science fact, TV shows.

It's mostly grown folks too. 'Tyrese' of TWD is starring in it. Full of accents.

okay found it on Anazon. it's in prime, so here goes.

btw, the opening scenes/set really remind me of the set and set-up of 'Total Recall' with The Arnoldator biggrin

Okay but for me I hate watching characters I neither know nor care about fucking right in the first bit. Seems pornoroffic and trying to hook me with generic ingredients. Will I get to know those sexed-up lttle fuck monkeys if I keep watching the series?

I came in at Season 2, not much sex I saw. I saw a bunch of Mormons though, it made me wonder if this is a Mormon inspired show, but perhaps not.
