I've never been out to any east or west coast comic-cons. Living in Minnesota makes that a little tough. Thanks to Wizard World, we at least get a halfway decent con each year. The best time was back in the 90s, though, when Creation would put on a couple of Star Trek cons each year in MPLS. I went to as many of those as I could, my first being in early 1989 with George Takei and Mark Lenard. Then in the late 90s they suddenly started passing on MPLS cons and it left a void that wasn't filled for years. I was able to go to Star Wars Celebration II and III in Indianapolis, but haven't been able to travel to any since due to the distances.

Do they hold anything at the Mall of America????

They had "Star Trek: The Experience" there for a while which is only a touring prop and costume museum. I had seen it at the science museum in Michigan back in 2009 and it reached the MOA a couple of years later. A similar tour came through teh MOA under the name "Star Trek Earth Tour" back in July of 1994 in which one could also interact with Bajorans, Klingons, etc. Shatner had an autograph signing in the Rotunda of the MOA for his "Mind Meld" DVD featuring him and Leonard. Got my DVD signed and shook his hand. Otherwise, I haven't heard of anything else Trek related there. Certainly no conventions. Usually the bigger cons are held at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Minneapolis Institute of Art held the "Star Wars: Magic of Myth" prop and costume tour back in 2000, and it returned at the science museum in a different version under the name "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination" in 2008. Ah...good times.

Well starting season 3 of Enterprise. Some changes I've noticed, opening theme song is a little bit faster tempo, T'pol hair is longer, didn't know Daniel Dae Kim appeared on Enterprise, knew he guest stared on Voyager

Was there ever an explanation why T'pol was always in a form fitting jumpsuit? There was with 7 of 9, about her transitioning out of her borg implants. Even when T'Pol is around other Vulcans who seem to always be wearing loose fitting robes, she's in that jumpsuit. Even Deanna Fri wore other styles sometimes.

Good question, not sure. Well when T'pol was with the Vulcan high council and wore this uniform for the first 2 seasons Season 3 the Vulcan high council order T'pol not to go in the Expanse to find the Xindi home world. T'pol did not want to return to Vulcan so she quit and then wore theses uniforms (guessing that's what civilian's wear on star ships) Now season 4 in the alternate universe episode she wore these uniforms I'm guessing for 7 of 9, also a civilian, wore the jump suits for the same reason Now for Troi I remember there was an episode in which she explain why she could wear jump suits. Since her position on the ship was ship's councilor (a civilian position viewed by Star fleet) she was allowed to either wear a Starfleet uniform or civilian clothes. Now I only remeber seeing her wearing the Starfleet mini skirt uniform in the first episode There was another episode when some commodore took command of Enterprise and order Troi to wear Starfleet uniform Now for the movies seems like she is wearing starfleet uniforms now and her on Voyager

T'Pol always dressed liked that even when she was on Vulcan. Different colors, different designs but basically the same exact style. It was weird seeing her standing with other Vulcans who were in those layered 'roman-like' robes and she's still dressed in a form fitting one piece bodysuit. Made it hard to take her seriously, especially given how old she was supposed to be.

Oh I forgot Nerys had the one-piece suit all the also. Yeah she hardly changed out of that either, there were times though.

I guess they just had the same costume designer for all the shows.

Well the costume designers try to think what people would wear in the future and here are some takes on it

Well sometimes the look does change like when we first see the borg then later on through the series
Then later and let's not forget the Klingons

Well I know DS9 kinda acknowledge that. It was that episode where they went back to the troubles with tribbles episode. Bashir asked Worf if those were Klingons and Worf's response was "I don't want to talk about it"

Yes!!!!!!!!!! Season 4. Which what Enterprise was supposed to be about, showing how things developed. I do believe it was the episode "Affliction" where the Klingons use the same serum that Khan and others used to enhanced themselves. Side effect for the Klingons would be that they would lose the ridges on their heads. Would effect 1 or 2 generations
