Was he nice???? seems like a nice guy
He was a very gracious guy, but it's not like I got to have a conversation with him. I was just one of the many.

Cool, yeah they say a few words then you move on. With the exception of Troi, all the people I meet seemed nice. |

Not sure if I told you are not but in the early 90's (I think 91) Marina came down to Hawaii for a convention. In Q&A she came off as very snooty and kinda talked down to people. When people were getting autographs she was scolding people only one autograph per person (total opposite of Worf who signed all my cards). Honestly I felt neverous getting my card signed by her, not sure if she was having a bad day or not. Kinda forgot about it but then last year I was watching a youtube showing all the cast members talking about their days on the set of the Next Generation. Marinia was interrupting other people and correcting them. The look on the others cast members was like "that's Marina being Marina". Then out of no where Marina went on a tirade of how they were the first show and all the other shows just followed them. I wished Shatner was there to tell her that they were the first. |

No, I don't remember you tell this. That must have been uncomfortable. I just read an excerpt from an interview with Patrick Stewart and he was thanking the TNG cast for teaching him how to loosen up, he said he didn't understand how they could goof around so much on set, he was about concentrating on the work, he says he's loosened up a lot now.

Yeah I always had a feeling Patrick Stewart was kinda up-tight (like Captain Picard) when he frirst stepped into the roll. Have a feeling Johnathan Frakes loosen him up (kinda how Riker has a playfull side). You can tell Patrick Stewart is having more fun doing roles now such as the X-Men films.
Picard early on
Picard later on

behind the scenes stuff is great. Patrick is so easy going these days, well for a lot of reasons but it was so funny watching him play with his foster dog, it's not something you could see Captain Picard doing. |

Just got done with season 1 of Enterprise, turns out there were 2 episodes I never saw before including the one where they visited Risa. The out takes were fun to watch. It didn't take much for Jolene Blalock to break into laughter since playing T'Pol forced her to be really serious. Seems like the cast had fun making the show.

Well if one wants to be technical, for Captain Kirk it is where no man has gone before.

Let me know if they explain why the Xindi had to take up an entire season.

I know the ratings went down in season 2. I guess the writers wanted to go in a different approach for season 3. I thought season 4 was the best season for Enterprise. |
