Looks like they are keeping Al Roker, and getting rid of Tameron. I'd much rather them get rid of Roker.

Al Roker is still there, he didn't lose his contract only Tamron.

in fact she was offered a multi-million dollar contract renewal, which SHE turned down.

“Tamron was offered a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal to stay at the ‘Today’ show and she turned it down,” the insider said. “People inside NBC were shocked. They expected her to stay,” a source said

“And just a few days ago, she received an email from the executive producer congratulating the 9 a.m. team for being No. 1 for the last seven weeks. Then on Friday, minutes before going on MSNBC they told her that she and Al are being taken off the air.” Adds the insider: “She couldn’t believe they told her right before she had to go on air. Tamron is my Dawg...She's an excellent Journalist/Reporter/News Anchor, TV LOVED her and she's drop-dead-Gorgeous, total eye-candy....The Powers That Be at NBC & MSNBC did not see Tamron quiting on them...That's why they offered her Millions and a multi-year contract, plus she'd still be appearing on Today, doing her 11am show on MSNBC AND doing her hosting gig for one of those "Who Killed so & so" News shows...They kept her working...I thought she'd keep doing her 11am Show on MSNBC until her final days but when she said she was OUT that was a wrap....LOL....


as of today CNN has a new 9am morning line-up. Tamron would be great at CNN but that Network is kind of stuck-up..Tamron needs to anchor a News show and I hope she does not fade away...We see Black female Journalists reporting the news more today than ever before but it's rare to see them Anchoring National News....

We all know Al Roker aint going nowhere...He's an NBC-Lifer and the Bruh is getting paid $7 Million a year just to be himself...AL has the best Gig in all of Broadcasting/Cable News.......
