Good to see that Rick and Michonne have such a strong chemistry but they are getting too careless and are not as mindful as they used to be. And Michonne is slowly but surely changing from badass , independent fighter into someone who´s got a weak spot, an Achilles heel. Not sure how I feel about that.

They made too many mistakes and didn´t seem to take the walkers seriously.

And those scrapyard people are really weird.

clearly the writers have a grudge against four legged animals. the goat, that poor horse, and now the deer. personally i highly doubt any deer could be trapped by those slow moving walkers and it just goes to show where the writers' heads are sad

They loose me every time with the animal scenes. Even in a sci-fi apocolyptic world goats horses & deer would never let anyone ESPECIALLY something foul smelling get that close, not to mention that the deer would not even been in the same space with them.

And these deer are never with a herd as deer are, or a herd should be very close.

Those animals scenes have always been the most stupid.

No, that was the stupid thing about it. He never shot it. They tried to hard with that scene. The thing Rick was holding onto cracked. So when I heard his gun give out and he is being cornered, we were trying to figure out what they were eating, because there is no way they would have gotten the deer.

Such a stupid scene

I read the Walking Dead novels:Woodbury-the Governer

And there was a really well written scene where a travelling circus had turned, and the character was being chased by walker clowns and circus citizens in the wood. It was really good.

.

I'll second that - it looked like a pre-viz effect, or something temporary they forgot to finish...

.

This show has gotten so fractured, there's just no focus anymore... the previous episode, with Eugene and Neegan, was pretty killer - but there seems to be a "one good episode, followed by two uninspired ones) pattern the past couple seasons...

I wish they would have let the period of settling in Alexandria continue for a while, with adventures exploration and horror while buiding the community

I miss utopia seasons like the farm and a few others.

The season between them having to leave the prison utopia and going to Terminus was good

I found last Sunday´s episode a tad too boring. I mean, it was alright and maybe a necessary episode but besides the kid getting killed not much else happened. Morgan developing psychosis again and Carol torn between wanting to help Rick and just be a peaceful hermit.....blah.

I hope next week´s episode will be more exciting.

The Eugene episode was pretty good.

the whole hermitage for Carol is funny

All the she/we know of this world and it's viciousness, how does she think people will just pass her and her little cottage up?

She knows whether she stays there or not, she may have to kill someone

strange episode imo. not sure why Morgan ended up killing the dude who killed Benjamin. is Morgan okay in the head after all? and Morgan then telling the saviors that he killed dude to show that he gets it, understands how things are, as if obedient but then deliberately riling carol up into fighting mode? and to have everyone motivated by this double-death event also puzzles me, did they not know who they were dealing with? oh well. interesting

Remember the conversation between Morgan and the guy he ended up killing, and then you may understand. They needed something really important be done in order to gain Saviors trust once again.

You could almost question whether Richard had agreed with Morgan to let him do that to him, having already accepted that he was going to sacrifice himself for the cause.

Scott Gimple (writer) stated on Talking Dead that he didn't write it that way, but it was a good reading of the story and if fans want to take that way they could. I prefer the Morgan snapping and doing it in a rage explanation myself.

What's wrong with you boys, have you lost you love and interest for TWD? yesterday's episode was a great one, very exiting and wait for the extended finale, looks amazing.

I'm still really enjoying the show, but then I'm a big fan of the comics and the genre. However, I can see how some people have been turned off by this season. It shares the same issues as Season 2, story progress has been quite slow.

You could list the big plot points from the last 15 episodes and they wouldn't really be enough to sustain that amount of TV ... there's definitely been a fair bit of filler (which I've still enjoyed but its not to everyone's taste).

My concern now is that its not going to be justified by a big enough finale. Judging by the success they had with the Negan cliffhanger last summer I think they will repeat the same trick and leave us hanging ... again. I think the big 'twist' will be a zombified Sasha released back to Rick's group with a bag on her head ... bag comes off, someone gets bitten, episode fades to black ...

Agree. Slow plot, and likely the same jerk us along and leave us hanging moves for the finale. Loved seeing Daryl but my enjoyment of the show is down. I just don't care much anymore. That being said I'm still watching

For me it's the lack of hope in the show causing my slowness of watching. But I'll eventually catch up.
