The Knicks organization said that Oakley was asked to leave because he was "heckling" James Dolan. Oakley said that he paid for his own ticket to the game, was only there for 4 minutes and then all of a sudden asked to leave the building by security. Judging by the reaction, I'm inclined to believe Oakley's version.

Also, the Knicks organization said that they hope that Oakley "gets help"??? But isn't the Knicks who really need the help? Just sayin'.

That's as low as an organization can get. And if Oak's version is true, the Knicks are open to a big time lawsuit and possibly a reprimand from the commissioner. Deliberately targeting a paying customer?

UPDATE: The dude who filmed the whole thing (season ticket holder Ryan Berger) is on with Mike Francesca right now. According to him, Oak said nothing, and didn't become abusive until he was surrounded by security.

I can tell you Dolan is neither of those things...he's willing to spend money - look at all the bad contracts the Knicks have given out the past 15 years. He just doesn't know how to run a basketball team. I don't buy the racism charge - his closest confidants are Isiah Thomas & Allan Houston.

If anything, Dolan is nothing but a rich man's son - a spoiled brat who can't stand any criticism.
