Directed by yours truly. Wanted to create a light, fun, quriky and spunky homage to women. Shot in and around atlanta with no budget. We're planning to do the festival circuit and screening rooms whereever we can!

Its inspired by early Spike Lee films, Madonna and Prince.

Synopsis:

'Charlie' is a fun and vibrant film that celebrates the complex and interpersonal relationships between women. Not only as friends, but also as sisters. After her sister Brandy's untimely death, everyone is taken aback by Charlies' unorthodox (and seemingly chipper) approach to her grieving process. Follow Charlie and her friends Kayla and Keturah as they go along for this wild, hilariously exhilarating and bittersweet ride- which will surely be the craziest day of Charlie's life."

this is kind of a shot in the dark, but i remember years ago there was a film-maker here who made a faux-80s music video. was that you? i'd love to see that clip again if it's still around, but i can't remember what it was called.

Don't be discouraged if it doesn't get into the one you really want, the process of prescreening and festival entry is not the most logical or fair thing many times. But keep on making stuff!
