Exactly what I told my son.
Among other things, they ran the Pats in the ground with their running game in the first half, so why did they change their game plan and suddenly implode in the second half? It does not add up.
After the Russell Wilson debacle and the Cam Newton choke I just don't have any faith in Super Bowls anymore. It's gotten pretty obvious.

Oh hell yeah. Pats-Seahawks SB was obvious and who couldn't see the Peyton Manning story
ending on a high note last year. Tonight on the last Pats drive I saw an Atlanta d-linemen with a clear path to Brady slow down and run around him. It's gotten crazy. Don't laugh at my funk

OMG Brady is at his best under pressure hence the second half "implosion". Time and time again he shows us that but you guys just can't accept it. He is the best. Period. Quit yer crying! They won fair and square! |

Seriously? Are you Brady's public relations groupie? Do tell us about the big check he's cutting you for being his number 1 groupie and defender. You wanna label him the GOAT. Cool. I have no problem with that. It's your perogative. Bradshaw and Montana have always been Batman and never Robin. Brady has been Robin twice. Accept that! Don't laugh at my funk

I don't have a Brady jersey. Love that all of you "men" have to revert to sexist comments here. I would have been able to take the heat if the Patriots lost. It's a game. It's fun and I am reveling in my team's win. Again. Brady's 5th Super Bowl win nighty night boys! [Edited 2/5/17 20:57pm] |

This is what happens when you don't do the little things right and execute properly. That missed block by Freeman which led to the sack/fumble on Ryan changed everything. Make mistakes against Brady and he'll kill you every time. Atlanta had it, but they didn't play sixty minutes of football.
Brady the GOAT? Nah, he's a notch below Joe Cool, who never lost a Super Bowl. |

I'm not a man and you are the only one here who doesn't know that. Furthermore, you are the one who is being sexist because you assume that because of my love for the game rather than drooling over a guy that I must be a man.....tsk, tsk. Shame on you.
It's not Brady that I don't respect, it's you.

Agree that Ryan's fumble changed the whole momentum of the game, but I'm also still salty that Freeman was all over the place in the first half and all but vanished in the second half along with Atlanta's running game.
Who the hell changes a winning game plan in the middle of the game? Makes no sense.

Yep, some of Atlanta's play calls had me scratching my head....they played right into the Patriots' hands.
The NFL is such a year-to-year league (because of free agency & injuries), there's no guarantee Atlanta will be here agin next Feb. Just ask the Panthers.
