This is so heartbreaking. While there is no official word on cause of death, it's obvious to me she died of a broken heart after having her beloved daughter die.

They will have to now add Debbie to this picture.

I'm so sad. I grew up watching Charlotte's Web and the Halloweentown movies and she was also a guest judge on one of my favorite reality shows Rupaul's Drag Race. 2016 just keeps getting worse and worse

It's just so at the moment they are talking about broken heart syndrome on CNN and how close Debbie and Carrie were (they all lived next door to eachother etc)......and its so true in this case.

I found out Debbie passed away today, after watching Rogue One in the cinema again (got emotional when Princess Leia appeared.....in fact the whole audience clapped and cheered loudly for her ) it was a shock hearing the news today In less than a week we lost George Michael, Carrie and now Debbie

Horrible, horrible news...With so many deaths this year, I'm pretty much speechless(and somewhat numb) about it all.

Debbie, Rest in Peace.

Debbie Reynolds was a gift to generations through her acting and in giving the world a beautiful daughter, Carrie Fisher

may they both rest in peace and comfort.

I think she had a smaller stroke last year, and that may have been the reason why she didn't attend the 2015 Governors Awards, Billie Lourd accepted it on her behalf. I think the shock of losing Carrie so unexpectedly took a toll on her
