How the Human Heart Functions as a Second Brain fun science fact: did you know that the human heart generates an electromagnetic field that extends up to three feet from the body? maybe this explains why we 'click' with some people and not others. it also explains why a depressed or sad person can affect others around them. The word “heart” is an anagram for the word “earth”. Hence, the phrase “home is where the heart is”. Did you know that the human heart is the organ that generates the strongest electromagnetic field of any organ of the human body? In fact, the electromagnetic field of your heart can be measured up to a few feet away from your body. Furthermore, this energy field changes in relation to your emotions. One thing you should know about electromagnetic field is that every organ and cell in your body generate an energy field. Because the heart generates the strongest electromagnetic field, the information stored in its electromagnetic field affects every organ and cell in your body. Could this be why the heart is the first organ to function in a fetus? Besides generating the strongest electromagnetic field, the heart has an intelligence of its own, which is why certain neurocardiologists refer to it as the heart-brain or the fifth brain. According to neurocardiologists, the heart is not only made of muscle cells but also neurons. Researchers at the Institute of HeartMath have done experiments proving that the heart’s role is not limited to just pumping blood. They believe it has intelligence and plays a major role in the perception of reality.

Didn't know this. I see it's the first organ to function. I'm going to have to look more into this.

The wordplay of earth/heart only works in English. In my language it's aarde/hart.

I think its cool that our hearts physically affect the world around us, and affect people who are nearby. Although, given some of the stupid O see on the roads from tailgating nonsignaling assholes I'm afraid my electrofield would prove fatal to those fools for.....

Think about it. Our moods physically affect the world and people around us. As long as we all bring a nasty, angry vibe to our interactions, this will be met with the same reaction from others. When we bring a positive vibe we receive more of the same in return. Its truly profound, imo

^^ Oh, you're right about that. It's just that the heart/earth thing reminded me of Prince's sayings about contract/protect and the likes. I really do agree that humans (and animals and plants too) communicate on other levels than just with the conscious mind. The ancient Egyptians believed we think with our hearts, not our brains. Who knows, they may have been right after all.
