Okay, so here we are at the 3rd day of 2017 and many of us are looking forward to this new year with our resulutions and expectations of a better year than last year.

As a point of sharing, i was just curious about what was the highlights of 2016 for you. i mean like what events, news, local happenings (in your area) stopped you in your tracks as far as your personal feelinsgs.

for me:

1. the loss of so many celebrities - w/Prince being my personal biggest loss, also David Bowie

2. the hike in the cost of housing

3. the surprise of the new prezident - elect

4. the many celebrity scandals (some real and proven) yet to be proven

5. being able to disagree with other orgers on certain topics, yet never seeing to many taken the disagreements on to a personal level

6. the many events of violence world wide that took so many lives

7. learning to be more tolerant of peoples pov

8. finding more appreciation in what i have verses what i do not have

9. thinking the california was not going to survive the statewide drought (finally we got rain :woot)

10. 2 of my paintings were requested to be put on display at a prominent place of business (i hope they will sell soon)

i have many more points i'd like to add. however if you'd like to share your "best, worse, scariest, newsworthiest, or whatever experiences you had or look back upon in the news or etc in 2016,
