for me i celebrated the same way i'll celebrate today - put food out for the little animals, birds, rabbits and squirrels etc. thank them for their company

last night i heard a kind of thump and thought 'crap!' it's that weirdo, trying to sneak down the chimney again, blast him!!!! summon the attack monkeys!!!! barricade the fireplace!!!!

but no, it was a bunny rabbit eating food on the patio had tipped over a water bowl

I wish I found this earlier. I have truly thought of beginning to celebrate the Winter Soltice formally in the future.
