Star Trek franchise news and other stuff 2 The other self-locked. So to continue. kpowers said: morningsong said: kpowers said: Don't remember that many people dying under Archers command. Janeway, yeah I guess alot of crew members died when Voyager was propelled to the Delta Quadrant It's saying 67% of his crew died. Them ain't good odds. 37% of Janeways. 22% of Kirk's and 7% of Picard's Yeah I watched all 4 seasons of Enterprise and it doesn't seem like 67% of his crew died. Well I'm thinking he didn't have as large of crew as the other captians, so for every person he lost his percentage would list as higher. Both Archer and Janeway were in unknown territory and encountered more unfriendly circumstances also. ya know with that in mind I think I'm changing my mind about us earthlings just willy nilly contacting anything out there.

I think Janeway lost most of her crew when Voyager was propelled to the Delta Quadrant.

Well there are the Romulans, Klingons and of course the Cardassian types, that are kept in check by basically military might. And to borrow from StarGate you have the Goa'uld and the Wraith, Theyr're kind of nasty. Hell the Wraith really creeped me out. But mostly its from listening to a podcast talking about life on Enceladus.

Well if Archer had 100 crew members I don't remember 67 crew members dying.

Well yeah on the attack on Earth, but not on Enterprise. Could be wrong. Seem kinda unbelieveable Earth only had 2 ships (Columbia) to defend Earth against the Xindi threat

Transporters Bones knew what he was talking about. He never trusted that contraption. I always got the impression that the transporter was supposed to have glitches, In fact if you take any convenience tech it seems it's never perfected until it's completely replaced by the next best thing. Nobody wants the perfectly functioning old thing, they all want the glitchy new thing. All the aliens look alike True of any weekly series. I have yet to encounter a series that did use the ticking clock storyline.

So it looks like S1E2 Enterprise introduces the existance of The Ancient Ones that Krall in ST Beyond "inherited" his tech from.
