Let's see 4 points gone on 2 point conversions for the Steelers. Ben before the half kept trying for the home run TD. Could of easliy gotten into field goal range if couldn't get a TD. That would be 3 points there, so 7 points waisted. Hey Tomlin you got a good kicker there. disbelief

Don't forget the missed FG attempt. disbelief

I don't know why Tomlin kept doing that stupid 2-point shit. It almost came back to haunt Pete Carrolll. Still, the Steeler's would have won if not for that dumb penalty.

I heard Ben's comments after the game....strong stuff.

True. You can't dismiss what Dak has done this season. I don't like the Cowboys but I'll give credit where credit is due. Ain't nobody on that offensive line
is throwing the football. Looking at Dak now is like watching Big Ben during his rookie season when he went 14-1. Damn Zeke is a beast too at rb.
As for my Steelers it seems like Mike Tomlin is doing everything he can to lose
his job. Going for 2 point conversions after touchdowns makes no damn sense unless
you're playing the Browns or Jets. When you don't convert you kill all the momentum you had scoring the TD against a good team. The defense needs a swift kick in the ass for letting a team drive the length of the field with 42 seconds left in the game. mad

And doing it four times. There was absolutely NO logical reason for that.

We discussed Tomlin before and I stand by my assessment. My priority is always the team.

The thing is, I don't know who they would hire if they can him?

Did I not say the same thing last month on the other thread?

"We are undisciplined and not accountable," Roethlisberger said,
via ESPN. "That's why (the Cowboys) are one of the best in the business and we're not right now."
But despite his honest assessment, Roethlisberger wasn’t pointing fingers at specific individuals.
"I don't know. Is it players? Is it coaches? I don't know, but we need to get there quick."
Pittsburgh’s fourth consecutive loss put a damper on a spectacular individual performance by Roethlisberger, who completed 37 of 46 attempts for a season-high 408 yards and three touchdowns. The Steelers hope to get back on track against the winless Browns on Sunday.

Dallas has the best O-line in the NFL (Titans & Raiders are up their too), and a beast at running back. When you dominate the line of scrimmage with that ground attack, you wear out the defense and it takes pressure off the QB.

The Vikings lost what, three starters on their o-line, and you see how they're doing.

Just as you thought things couldn't get worse for the Steelers they lose their

second best player on defense for the season DL Cam Heyward to a torn pectoral

muscle. He was the brawn on the defensive line. Ryan Tuitt has been M.I.A this season.

Holy crap, if you haven't seen the Luke Kuechly video, don't watch it. That's what brain damage looks like. Specifically:

https://en.wikipedia.org/...bar_affect

The scary thing is that he wasn't hit that hard, although he was hit twice - once from in front and once from behind. But man, his brain is scrambled.

Tomlin needs to take control

I would be SHOCKED if Tomlin is let go after the season, even if the Steelers miss the playoffs. It's just not their way.

As for Kuechly, he should be shut down the rest of the season.

I don't think it will come to that. But when the QB is saying that the head coach needs to address that.
