Hey, we're talking fun and fantasy here--not real war. razz lol But, I bet those ladies would like to take a break from war and watch a good film... At home, in their PJs, with their loved ones.

lol lol i know i know. but, am i the only one who's tired of seeing female superheroes super-sexualized? just ... enough with the bustiers and bikini bottoms crap already.

okay snarky rant over. lol

I agree with you, being against over objectification of women in media. But, we're talking about Wonder Woman who is a traditional staple in comic book tradition going back decades. She portrays a strong female character, especially when she was first portrayed with a multitude of male heroes. And, yes, she is sexualized in her outfit...but without it, she wouldn't be Wonder Woman. She would be someone else. As far as new heroines in the comic book universe--I think that female characters that aren't so objectified sexually should be included most definitely.

Actually, now that I think about it--I can remember female heroines in comic books not so overtly sexualized. The Invisible Woman in the Fantastic Four and Storm from X-Men come to mind. And, yes, their costumes were form-fitting, but so were the men. In fact, I would say that most of the male heroes in the Super Hero world had exaggerated sexual costumes and features. It ain't exclusive to women. lol Good topic for the thread.

This looks good. Finally a decent DC movie? The nolan Trilogy being the only good ones. The rest meh to good.

Each to their own. The first Tim Burton Batman movie remains my personal favourite. The Nolan movies are really overrated in my opinion. Begins is good, Dark Knight is pretty good too but Rises was boring.

After Joel Schumacher nearly killed the franchise with his two horrible films, Nolan

restored it to greatness with his trilogy. His Batman is THE Batman, IMO. But I have to admit, Affleck did a fine job,,,,,,reninded me of Frank Miller's Dark Knight.

Batman 1989 was very good for its time. But Batman Returns was a huge disappointment, mostly because of Danny DeVito's awful performance as the Penguin. It should have been just Batman & Catwoman.

This looks really good. I liked Dawn of Justice and I thought it was very underrated by a lot of critics but it could have been better (in fact, the longer cut WAS better) so I have high hopes for Wonder Woman. The best thing about Dawn of Justice was Ben Affleck though so I'm more looking forward to The Batman.

I loved the darkness of Dawn of Justice and Man of Steel. I hope WW follows suit. They better not nerf her powers either. Wonder Woman is nearly as strong as Superman, and I'll be disappointed if she doesn't fly.

The Joel Schumacher movies are painful to watch. However, with a better script and director, I think Val Kilmer could have been a good Batman. My own personal choice would have been Mel Gibson though. I love Mad Mel.

I actually liked Danny DeVito's Penguin. He went a bit overboard sometimes though.

There's a part in the new trailer where it looks like she could be flying.

I knew the franchise was in trouble when Schumacher said he its about time Batman got over the death of his parents, and he wanted to make Batman "fun" again......jackass. Doesn't understand the character at all. His Two-Face was ridiculous and over the top, same with Burton's Penguin. (It was a smart move cancelling Burton's Superman film. After seeing the documentary, that would have been the biggest disaster since the Hindenburg).

The correct answer is Kevin Conroy

Agree. That fight scene when Batman rescued Martha was brutal. It's my favorite scene. In every Batman movie you gotta deliver a fight scene like that at least 3 times. That was awesome imo.

I often wonder about the what if Burton and Keaton had stayed on for Batman 3. With Robin Williams coming on as The Riddler.

I said "Awwwwwww shit!" watching that scene. THAT is Batman....he tiptoes the line, but doesn't cross it.

I'm a little worried about Justice League....DC seems to be emulating Marvel, having their characters say silly one-liners. Keep it dark, DC.

Speaking of Marvel, I enjoyed Doctor Strange. They're setting everything up for Infinity War.

I agree. Keep DC just like it is as far as tone. If I want a little lightheartedness I know how to go check out Spiderman, Iron Man etc. I hope Wonder Woman gives us a fight scene that shows just how strong she is and how powerful she is,how skilled she is with or without her lasso, shield and sword.
