The Dark Web, be careful.

I hope none of you are on Tor. I'd avoid the dark web. Much of it is illegal. Don't want any of you going to the pokey.

There is lots of sick shit on there. That's saying something. Hitmen, sex slavery, guns, drugs. eww.

This guy surfs it so you will not:

NSFW!!! If you are easily offended. do notttt watch.

I have a friend at PayPal. There is a dept at PayPal that searches things on the dark web. They investigate certain transactions through PayPal that could be for stuff like organ trafficking or human trafficking. He said to me, "You wouldn't believe the shit on there."

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

No doubt. But you know how curious humans are? Especially teens.

This guy is probably taking a chance itself. Clicking on the sites may not be illegal but who knows.

There are rumours about Red Rooms, actual torture and killings but most of that is fake. We have enough actual sick shit Hollywood puts out. The hitmen stuff I doubt. Why risk jail for a few bucks? It would be horrible to know we live in a world where online killers are offing people all over.

Shoot, to me, messing around in the dark web is like playing with a Ouija board. You don't know what kind of darkness you're summoning. And besides, TOR is slow as molasses(on the dark net).

Also you can get most of the same LEGAL content that's on the Dark net, on the the regular net. As for the illegal stuff? Well... if a person is sick and stupid enough to look at illegal pornography, steal(or buy) someone's personal information, hire a hit man to kill someone, or buy illegal drugs*(seriously, buying illegal drugs on the internet?), then they deserve every bit of bad that comes their way(except in the case of buying illegal drugs)....And bad will eventually come.

*I don't do drugs but i think that most of them should be decriminalized. So, that every bit of bad comment, doesn't apply.

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

They asked my man to play the game Sad Satan. Watch him play it, as the crazy pics jump out at him. Don't worry, he blurrs them, especially the pedo garbage:

I saw the violent images. They aren't that gross. Compared to Eli Roth shit. NSFW!! Beware.

And here I am afraid to even google certain words and phrases for fear of the government knocking at my door wondering why I'm wanting to learn about how many, if any, staples from a pneumatic staple gun applied to the temple would actually be fatal for a 185ish lb man followed by a search for hardware store sales and coupons.

All I ever needed to know/read about it was in a CRACKED article last year from a woman who infiltrated the Deep Web. eek All I have to say is humans suck. mad Very depressing to think these "humans" exist and are probably sitting right next to you at work.

"Our source, 'Pam,' spent months undercover in an online community of child molesters, learning their lingo and studying their ways as part of an undergrad research project. The evidence she brought back is truly horrifying, and a quick heads up: Nothing that appears after this paragraph will be the least bit safe for your brain...7axxn is a community of 'over 90,000' registered users, filled with gigabyte after gigabyte of child pornography, which is easily the most depressing set of statistics ever recorded."

The article has screenshots of some of the conversations. Unbelievable! evil sad fight mad

My problem is this - for all we can say 'oooh look, this is how bad the dark web is' (let's face it, it's unlikely anyone here is going to say they use it all the time) - by posting links to the articles and the YouTube videos you are, perhaps inadvertently, advertising it. The article that was posted was basically a 'how to' guide for a person with the wrong intentions and, if I had never heard of the game that your man was playing (I hadn't), then for every one of me that thinks it is sick, there might be someone who thinks 'Wow I'm gonna play that'. I dowonder who 'they' is 2Freaky? (when you say 'they' asked my man to play it) - I'd have flat out said no.

I work with young adults, their knowledge of the dark web is scary. I honestly think that however innocent this thread is, we should avoid advertising it at all costs.

Freaky drinks and is a Bengals fan, so what can I tell ya? lol

Seriously though, I see your point. I have heard disgusting things about the dark web and have enough maturity and restraint to know that there are some things I don't need to see. Younglings are just the opposite.

Hell, I won't even download Tor for fear of TPTB thinking I'm up to something. eek
