No Gene Wilder on Netflix? Are you kidding me? None?
You can rent DVD's of most of Gene Wilder movies there.
This is what I'm getting...

I was all set to watch Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory last night too. My first Wilder movie.
http://variety.com/2016/film/news/gene-wilder-willy-wonka-peter-ostrum-1201847688/
Peter Ostrum had never set foot on a film set when he was cast as Charlie Buckett in “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” It fell to Gene Wilder to show him the ropes.
“He was the pro and I was a rookie,” said Ostrum, who left the acting business and became a veterinarian.
“It’s kind of like losing a parent,” said Ostrum. “You know it’s going to happen, but it’s still a shock. He was not in good health at the end and it was not unexpected by any means, but when it happens it hits you like, ‘Gene is gone and there will never be anyone like him again.'”
“He was a gentle man, but he was also a gentleman,” he added. “He treated people with respect and dignity.”

I just put in a whole bunch of Gene Wilder movies in my Que. Not sure what your problem with Netflix is, maybe try a different browser when going to that site. |

Try going to one of his movies he starred in. They should list the cast and then you can click onto his name that way |

Did a few movies. Willy Wonka, Young Frankenstein, Stir Crazy, Blazin' Saddles. Nada. I even typed in Richard Pryor on the streaming section, his name only came up with one listing, some kind of biopic of his life.

I typed in Young Frankenstein and Silver Streak Netflix in Google Search and it seems that Netflix does have them but ONLY for the DVD service and NOT for streaming service. So, if you only have streaming the movies aren't available on Netflix. But, youtube has them in their pay-for service. That really sucks, last night on the Foxtel (Family and Comedy Movie Channels) they showed Willy Wonka (1971), See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989), The Lady in Red (1984) and Blazing Saddles (1974) ....and for purchase The Producers (1967) Stir Crazy (1980) Young Frankinstein (1974) and Silver Streak (1976).
Where To Watch Gene Wilder Movies Online: Which Of His Best Films Are On Netflix, Hulu & Amazon? http://www.idigitaltimes....zon-553185 I hope this helps. [Edited 8/30/16 22:57pm] Keep Calm & Listen To Prince |

My mum's boyfriend at the time brought around a tape he recorded from the TV. I still have that tape in the attic, I might fish it out and watch it for old time's sake. A couple of years later I saw Willy Wonka in school and I thought it was weird that suddenly he was able to hear. I remember asking my teacher if he was really deaf. Thinking back, I wonder if she thought it strange that I was able to quote entire lines of dialogue from See no evil hear no evil, considering I was only about 6 years old... I know that movie doesn't get the same recognition as the likes of blazing saddles and young frankenstein but it will always be a classic to me.
Well because of your age. A good movie but not the best of Gene Wilder/Richard Pryor team ups. Stir Crazy and Silver Streak is better, check them out and you might agree. Also there is Another you Yeah, I've seen all those loads of times. Stir Crazy is probably my favourite. I read Richard Prior's autobiography a few years and there's a part where he's talking about shooting that movie and how a lot of the extras were real criminals, some of them murderers. So he was real tentative around them but Gene Wilder was going around introducing himself to everyone and cracking jokes with them all. I was always a huge fan of Gene Wilder. He was one of the best comedic actors of all time. That scene in See No Evil Hear No Evil where they're trying to take his mugshot and he keeps turning away at the last second and the policewoman goes crazy always had me in tears. The way he's so oblivious as to why she's angry is hilarious. |

I've always thought See No Evil, Hear No Evil was underrated . Love that movie. As I am typing this, I am thinking of that scene where Pryor is wondering if Wilder could hear him if he yelled . Paraphrasing..."yea, go ahead and try it. Oh my god, it worked! I can hear!!!" "Really?" "No, you idiot...I'M DEAF!!!" Haha...love the chemistry of those two! |

Got it. Okay, I feel better now. I was getting angry they didn't have anything, but I see they have a ton of Gene Wilder movies. Too bad they're not streaming a few. Some of these I forgot I've seen, revisting them for sure.

Good to hear you have access now Lots and lots of Wilder movies. They need to change it back when even in streaming search you'd get info that it's dvd only not this "no results found" mess. Folks always 'fixing' things. |
