What do you do for them?


Mine are out of control today!

I've got them too. I take Allerga and also have to take two different types of migriane medicines...one of the things that trigger my migraines is allergies.
It sucks

Yes my allergies triggered a migraine in me too the other day. ( the caffine trick DID work!) Allegra is slow to if at all.

Have you been taking it every day for at least a week? It takes a while to get into your system and work. Or, maybe Allergra doesn't work for you. I know after a while I had to stop taking Claritin because it stopped working.
Have you tried Clairinex? That's a good one.

No, actually I medicate on the spot.. My allergies are not constant enough for daily dosing. ( Though that truth might be changing! ) I used to get benefits from spot medicating.

this may sound ... simple ..

but i suffered for years from em ...

i had a prescription of Chlariton ... cant spell it ... hated it ... didnt help at all ...

but i recently moved ... into a house without FORCED AIR heating ...

and i havnt sneezed or sheezed at all ...heres to baseboard hot-water heating ...

Me!! I'm allergic to most cats.. can't be in the same room as those fancy race cats without my eyes turning red and feeling bad..

I am allergic to pollen. I take antihistamines in the spring/summer.

My allergy was out of control last Saturday and Sunday. Less so on Sunday. Once it started I knew the weather was changing, and sure enough a Santa Ana came thru my city. For anybody who doesn't know; that's when the weather gets really hot, and sometimes very humid. I can't stand Summer weather because of that. And since it's only Spring, the weather has cooled off since then, it may even rain today!

Generally I take whatever works that doesn't contain Acetaminophen - an ingredient that will potentially EFF YOU UP in the long run. Lately I've been taking Sudafed, before that it was Actifed. Can't remember if Actifed has acetaminophen or not, it's been so long since I had it. In general I have to know for a fact that it's an allergy attack (as opposed to just sneezing here and there) before I decide to take ANYTHING, because I don't take medicine at the drop of a hat.
