I don't think that's a fair statement to make. There's plenty of players in the NBA that have made dumb mistakes. He isn't the only one. He's just young and not thinking.

In other words, he doesn't have inside what it takes to be a success in the NBA. He'll put up good numbers, get in fights, get arrested a few more times, bounce around 5 or 6 teams, and then be out of the league around the time he's 30.

But when you're 26 or 27 with access to everything you mentioned in your post, it's not totally shocking that he would make this kind of dumb mistake. Not sure why the whole "my account got hacked" excuse was even mentioned in the first place. The only thing that would've made this situation worse is if he had a small package.
