Tips / Must See Things In Las Vegas...?

Heading back to Vegas in September. Was there in 2007, but only for 2 days and got married while we were there so felt like we missed quite a bit...we managed to do the ride on top of the Stratosphere, saw the Bellagio fountains and wandered around mos tof the casinos at the top end of the strip.

We're there for three nights. Have already booked the Purple Reign tribute as the Westgate as I hear its awesome. Any other tips or 'must see' suggestions while we're there? Thanks!! biggrin

The spa at Caesar's Palace. You can get a day pass for 40 bucks or something. Totally amazing, absolutely worth it.

Yep! They have a room where it snows. Pretty neat. I had a massage as well, and it was excellent. My then-husband was skeptical - "what am I going to do in a spa for an hour?" - but ended up not wanting to leave. It's that relaxing.

Ghost Bar, at the Palms, has an amazing view of the strip. Also fun for people watching. And if you like bbq, Lucille's is worth the trip. I went to the one at the Green Valley Ranch shopping district, not the one at Red Rocks. It was a nice break from the strip.

I don't know if he still performs there but if he does, you should definitely check out the magician Lance Burton. I went to see him a few years ago and he was amazing. I have no idea how he does the things he does. There was a part during the show when this other guy with a mask came on and challenged him to a sword fight. They had this crazy 5 minute fight and Lance Burton got under a curtain and the masked guy plunged his sword in and the curtain hit the floor and Lance had disappeared. But then the guy took his mask off and it was Lance Burton under the mask! So who the hell was he fighting? It blew my mind. There were loads of moments like that throughout the show where you're thinking "I know there's some kind of trick involved, but I'd be fucked if I know how it's done".

I liked the cirque show at the Wynn "Le Reve". Smaller theater so the seats were great. It is a cirque show set in water. Would recommend it.

I always check out Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum which is on The Strip right next to the Venetian. The Prince figure should still be there, among other celebs. And none of them are encased, so make sure u bring your camera because u can actually put your arm around them and take pictures!

Don't hate me 'cause I'm NOT beautiful
