Sad picture...I actually saw that posted in a news story somewhere. I was like, I know some of those people.

Yeah, it was pretty surreal. This was only a few hours after it was "announced". I called my friends and we all left work and met outside the gates. That picture got picked up by the AP and I heard from folks in Australia, the UK, etc. seeing it on the news or in their morning paper. I was told it was shown on 20/20 and Dateline here. We joked about being the face, well, the butts, of mourning Prince fans everywhere.

A slightly different shot was in our local paper, then a couple days later when we went back out there we were asked to be on the local news, and found shots from that day in the U of M paper and another shot yet on Billboard's website. It was so weird.
