Mike Epps' "Uncle Buck" Cancelled By ABC They didn't even give it a chance. Too bad. It was the only sitcom currently on television that I could bare watching. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

Good. It should never have been made to begin with. I am glad that they resisted the temptation of casting someone like Kevin James in the role but Mike Epps is not much of a step up.

It should've been called, "After Black-ish" Katie Kinisky: "So What Are The Latest Dances, Nell?"
Nell Carter: "Anything The Black Folks did Last Year"

The 1990 series didn't last that long either. TV executives out there, let's rest on an ok John Candy movie already.

It never had a chance going up against Tyler Perry's Have And Have Nots. I watched 2 episodes before HAHN returned and it seemed like it had potential. I never watched the original. If I'm gonna watch a John Candy movie it's gonna be The Great Outdoors. Don't laugh at my funk

Previews looked boring, I didn't even know it was on the air yet but I would have given it a chance. Oh well, Epps needs to magically resurrect on Survivors Remorse, he was great on that. [Edited 7/8/16 15:45pm]

If you don't think Mike Epps is Funny then you don't know Comics... In fairness, I've never seen any stand up. He might be a good comedian. I've seen a few movies he was in and thought they were crap though. I do think it's a bit strange for you to make that statement though. If I don't agree with you, I don't know much about the topic?

I know comics and Mike Epps is ok, no Richard Pryor but he is ok. A million times funnier than Kevin Hart I give Mike Epps that.

And Martin Lawrence. Loved him on his 90's sitcom. But, as a stand-up comic? One of the worst I've seen. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

Couldn't stand anything he was in. I tried, but no.

Good point. Since when is "Mike Epps" the one who sets the bar in stand up???

They really hyped that show up and I knew it wasn't going to last....I couldn't even make it thru the first 8 minutes of it.

And Adele is no Aretha or Whitney but Adel can still sing a song....Go sit yourself down somewhere... I watched a couple of stand-up shows, as well as a few short clips on YouTube but I'm still not overly enamoured with him. He's ok. His stand-up is definitely better than any of his shit movies. He's pretty good but the majority of his act is just comparing how black people do things to how white people do things. I'm kind of thinking, "yeah, that's a funny observation, but I liked it best the first time I heard it when it was done by Richard Prior, Eddie Murphy, Alonso Jones, Chris Rock, Chris Tucker, Bernie Mac etc". Only personally, I think they did it better. Maybe it's unfair to expect him (or anyone else) to be up there with Prior or Bernie Mac, but I don't believe not liking him is akin to not knowing good comedy.

Wow, I had forgotten all about that. I didn't see much point being that the lead was ... whoever that actor is. [Edited 7/18/16 11:24am]
