Yeah the lady lawyer just wanted publicity for herself and she even used the young Indian lady to persuade his parents...opportunistic. |

Yeah that was messed up. I wouldn't say that the parents are stupid, but because of their economic status, all they heard was the money part. They see this guy who has taken on their son's case who they didn't really know nothing about then the one time he actually sits down with them, the first thing he talks about is money. Then they have this other lawyer show up with her assistant who happens to speak their native language (that was a sneaky move), then says that she will take their son's case pro bono, of course they are going to believe everything she says. However, John Tuturro's character really knows what he's talking about and, I believe, is sincere about Naz and his case.
But I will say that with this latest episode, things have slowed down a lot. Hopefully it'll pick back up next week.
Pick up it did....its getting good now. Guess the parents gotta go back to Stone They shouldve knew better cuz nothing is really free. |

I can't recall that scene (but then again I was making a hot chocolate in the kitchen and might have missed it), but I think anything is possible with this show...alot of red herrings, before we know the truth. [Edited 8/1/16 18:55pm] Keep Calm & Listen To Prince |

Yeah that scene came from out of nowhere...though that guy seemed too good to be true. Just when you started feeling sorry for him, then bam, Naz gets scolded on his arm. Now that I think of it, I think the whole story the guy told him wasn't true at all, I believe that HE is the one who killed his niece. The rage he had in beating that guy up made me think that he def has it in him to snap and kill someone. But again...there was NO blood on him (except his hands from grabbing the knife). and that was a very bloody murder.

Yeah, it's part of the price you pay for protection. It's so sad how naive he was. No one is going to help you in prison for free. Now its like he's turning into a different person, OR is this the person he was all along? I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

That's what I keep telling myself, there's no way that he killed this girl because he would've been covered in blood. And with the multiple stab wounds inflicted on the girl, his own hands would've been cut terribly, because with that much stabbing and blood, his hand would've slipped making deep cuts.
It appears now that the 2nd guy on the street from the first episode is the culprit since he was running from Stone. And speaking of Mr. Stone, I really, really hope that they find a cure for his skin condition because that poor guy is really suffering with the Crisco, the plastic wrap, the steriods, the viagra and UV light. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

Totally...I'm an ID channel FANATIC and I know enough to know that blood gets everywhere. Unless we are seeing everything through his perspective and then in the end they'll flip it and show what really happened. Just a thought.
I did laugh when they asked him to swallow the drugs. He asked why not the son...'No....that'll get to psychological' LOL Every minute of last night is on my face today.... |

I knew something funky was up with the stepfather!!! Now that I think of it, why didn't that main detective guy at the precinct ever interview the stepfather at all? Now it's starting to all make sense. The stepfather more than likely still had the keys to the house...now either he actually committed the murder or he paid someone to do it. Either way, the next step is to look into how the mother died. I bet money that he killed her.
Naz seems to be sinking deeper and deeper into prison life. Tattoos, drugs, etc. I was just waiting for him to be sexually assaulted in the shower but thank goodness it was only a threat scene. I think I would've had to turn the channel for a few seconds if it was the other way around.
I'm so happy that Stone is FINALLY cured of his skin condition. I was dying laughing when he went to his skin support meeting with shorts and dress shoes on!!! Dude was super excited!!! It's amazing how he went to all of those doctors who prescribed all of this unnecessary medication and suggested pointless remedies that didn't work. All he had to do was drink some mixed powder concoction and boom, he's cured. Since Chandra was resorting to drinking shots with Stone, I thought that they would end up in bed together. It's better that they didn't.
Only 2 more episodes left!

WARNING SPOILERS OF EPISODE 7: I really hope Naz isn't getting so used to prison life that he's not going to want to leave prison. Especially since it seems that his mother doesn't believe that he's innocent.
That stepfather is batshit crazy. How in the hell do you threaten a lawyer? And nothing is done about it? I just knew Stone was going to get back at the stepdad somehow after his threat, but nothing has happened. I really believe the the stepfather had A LOT to do with the murder. He more than likely hired the guy that was on the run from Stone a couple of episodes ago.
I'm really enjoying the relationship between Stone and the cat. It's so cute. And he keeps trying to give the cat away but really doesn't want to give him up.
Hold up, how is it that Chandra has fallen for Naz? Shipwreck waiting to happen. That's definitely not going to end well.
Can't wait to see the conclusion to this next week. I think it's going to be a 75 minute finale.

yeah this episode was good. sad about the young guy committing suicide but revenge was had I'm starting to believe the stepdad did have her killed for the money and Nasir's mom is getting on my nerves. Chandra seems like a good lawyer but dumb for getting involved with a client. I'm not a cat person but you're right the relationship between Stone and the Cat is cute. Really good series so far. |

In a way (slightly), I can understand her frustration because Naz has turned not only his family upside down but also the lives of those with similiar backgrounds to their own. It's embarrassing, frustrating and disappointing, but I can't understand her turning her back on her own son though. I'm really surprised at how quickly Naz has turned into this perfect thug while in prison. If he gets out, is he not going to return to school? Is he not going to get a job?
