I actually thought about moving closer to San Diego but after driving around the city a few times I decided that I like North County waay better. La Jolla is probably the most expensive part of SD but it's really nice. Chula Vista isn't that bad from what I've seen and it's waay cheaper but the closer you get to Mexico the cheaper everything gets. Can't beat being close to beaches though.
