Like I said in the Finals thread, in the past, other players did what LeBron and Durant are accused of doing, "championship chasing". Shit, Charles Barkley did it twice, so I don't want to hear from him or any haters. With Durant, OKC had what it takes to beat Golden State, so I was surprised he left.
But Lebron made a big deal about it with the Decision special. He was big headed about it and he didn't tell the owner ahead out of time out of respect that he was leaving.
I'd say GS needs two things....a legit rim protector, and Curry has to get healthier & stronger during the off-season. He's had two sub-par finals.
Pachulia isn't a bad fit, but he's not a grade-A rim protector.
After you get out of the 1st round, the game gradually slows and gets more physical. You're right, like the Jordans, Kobes, and Isiahs before him, Curry may have to add muscle to help him weather the grinding of working off picks and bumps on each possession. But having KD helps draw more attention away.
Curry has to take a page from Jordan's book when he finally beat the Bad Boy Pistons.
Despite the critics, super teams are a good thing. The NBA had its best years during the 80s & 90s with Magic's Lakers, Bird's Celtics & later, Jordan's Bulls. We need a villain to root against - the Warriors will provide that. They will draw in the casual fans who lost interest when Jordan retired. More ratings = more money for the league.

I hear David Lee might rejoin the Warriors. If he can get some run, he could be a quality contributor.
Hope so, I never wanted them to let him go but I get all the contract stuff. Dude has heart, I'll never forget him playing 10 days after surgery - he got on the floor just to pump up his team. You cannot buy heart!

I wish he was still on the Knicks. Dude's a work horse.

Yeah I heard about this earlier today. My initial thoughts were, "my goodness he don't need to be fucking up now. Leave the arresting BS to the NFL players please". Then when I read that his bond was $200, I figured it was something minor. Guess whoever that troll was in the restaurant got bitch slapped by money Green. Don't feed the trolls Dray. It may not be "minor". Turns out Green the Nut Stomper stalked this dude, who is a Michigan State football player. Green played the "Do you know who I am?" card and the guy said basically, "Yes, and I don't care". That man is an American hero.
According to the police report from the incident, Edmondson bumped into Green on Saturday night at Rick’s, an East Lansing bar. Green then turned around and asked Edmondson, “Do you know who I am?” Edmondson told police that he said he didn’t care who he was. Later that night, someone came up to him and grabbed him by the throat, although Edmondson could not confirm who it was. A witness also reported that she had been grabbed on the throat, but she too couldn’t identify the subject.
The next night, Edmondson was outside of Conrad’s when Green approached him, put his hand on him, and tried to talk to him. Edmondson told Green to get off him, which was when Green slapped him. One police officer said, “the sound of the slap was very loud.” The other responding officer said that he heard “a loud smack noise.” Edmondson said that he didn’t need medical attention and that he did not want to press charges against Green.
Green was taken to an East Lansing police station and breathalyzed. He blew a .10 and had to stay in jail until he sobered up.
Update (2:51 p.m.): Edmondson has reportedly changed his mind and will press charges.

This guy's story sounds dumb as hell and yes this incident is very minor. Green didn't murder anyone, it wasn't a domestic dispute, he didn't stomp on anyone and then spit on them. We are only talking about a slap here, c'mon now. This is small potatoes compared to what other athletes have done off the court. In a month we won't even be talking about this nonsense. I agree, I think the only remarkable thing about this story is that for once, Green didn't kick another guy in the nuts. Other than that, it's here-today, gone-tomorrow.
Although, I have to admit I laughed pretty good when Green asked the dude if the dude knew who he was, and the dude said yes and I don't care.

But that's the thing, I don't think that conversation ever happened.

On The Jump last week, there was a pic they had on their prompter in the background that had Steph, Klay, Dray and Durant similiar to the Death Row Records prompo pic back in the day when Tupac signed with Death Row. Had me wondering, which one out of the GSW bunch is supposed to be Suge Knight? See the link below.
Great interview with Andre Iguodala....don't let the title mislead you, they talk about much more than KD (which is only discussed for only a minute or two).
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
I never thought I'd say this but I'm actually glad KD signed with Golden State. I just read an article on a Yahoo about how close he was to signing with the Celtics. They might have been in the Finals next year. Shit I already hate the Celtics. I'm hoping the Sixers new talent start to emerge this year. I like what I'm seeing from Ben Simmons. He's a passing wizard and can get to the hole. He has to work on his jumper.
