Im interested in gettting a cd burner
I have no idea what kind i should get or from where
what do you recommend?

Its for my pc. I want an external one,cuz I doubt I can install one myself

Honestly, your best bet is to bring your PC to an upgrade shop and someone to install an internal CD writer for you, if you are reticent about doing it yourself. I should tell you though - it is very easy to do, and it doesn't take much skill, so don't pay too much. A top-end internal IDE CDRW drive costs less than $40 nowadays.

I think what annoyed me was that I upgraded my memory, my modem & installed a new drive but I did them all separately. 3 trips inside my computer was a bit much for me, lol, but it really wasn't hard. Figure out what you want to do & think about installing it yourself if you wanna save $ Also, there's some good How To installation demos (video & print) @ sites like zdnet & cnet...
