Human technology as we know is not friendly and destructive to our own enviroment.

the chemicals and so forth used in machinery, aircraft ect as we know is destroying our own atmosphere.

we havent yet mastered technology in our own atmosphere, so could sending human made chemicals and so forth into space be detrimental to the greater universe?

NASA just lit a fire in micro gravity. given the total disregard for the planet, human and animal life when conducting testing on earth (e.g under sea neuclear testing) I highly doubt precautions were taken for life and so forth in outter space.

it could be a great horror movie though. call it 'spark', and tell the story of how embers from the fire somehow ignite the oxygen in earth's atmosphere, resulting in a potential extinction event unless heroic astronauts can do a firefight in the stratosphere!!

You are aware there is not only NASA, but there are ISRO, ESA, CNSA, JAXA, RFSA. Those are the major space programs in the world. But guess what, there are minor ones all over the world. BSA, ACAE, CIDA-E, AEM, ASAL AP-MCSTA, ALR, MBRSC, NSSA, BIRA, ABAE UKSA, CRISP, CCSDS, DTUSpace, LAPAN, FCT SO, SANSA. That's not even half of the space programs around the world that are currently active in what's happening above our atmosphere. Planned programs PASA, AfriSpace, PSA and SLASA. The entire world in marching forward while you sit around flinging your dung like your predecessors. It's evolve or die time.
