As a breastfeeding mother, I definatly understand how hard it can be to end that relationship, especially if you are a working mom and don't get to spend that much time with your child. Breastfeeding can be a special bonding time for you and your baby. I plan on weaning at one year, but only because I want to get pregnant again and don't want to tandum nurse. My sister breastfed her son until he was two. I don't judge...the breastfeeding relationship is very special.

If the baby isn't drinking from a toddler's cup by age 1, something is kind of off.

And mothers, you can shoot.....oops, I mean place your breastmilk inside a toddler's cup, am I right?

Yes you can pump your breastmilk and they can drink it from a sippy cup.

4 or 5 would be outside my comfort zone but there is nothing wrong with it.

it is a silly thing to say if they have teeth then it is too old

Same goes with most other milestones.

it is a personal choice btween a mother and her child.

I am not sure that is true but so what if they can drink from a sippy or regular cup maybe it is a comfort issue?


And sure a mother can pump... but should she have to? I think until 5 is fine and is between the mother and child.
