How do I respond

Hey yall, got a ? 4 U. At my job we have a gay man and I have become very good friends with him. Now I am not gay or confused but half of the office thinks I am now. Including my boss who has know me for 6 damn years. Now I am tired of the looks and whispers and I wonder what should I do. I am down to 2 options: Play along with these idiots who are not comfortable with their life or get ghetto on them. I am leaning to playing along because I get a kick out of making them look stupid. This is NOT a bashing thread but I just want some suggestions.

Nah seriously though, I've always felt that sexual orientation and sexuality are not appropriate discussion fodder for the workplace. I wouldn't even begin to broach the subject with colleagues (regardless of what rumours are spreading in smoke-filled rooms) because it's none of their business.

That's my take anyway.

when i was about 19 i became really good friends with a gay dude... i'll be honest, i was a little worried by the looks etc as we lived in a pretty small community... i guess i was a little homophobic back then ... even though i didn't like to think i was... i soon got over it though... i think i really knew the last trace of homophobia had left me when i doodle whacked him at a party in front of a bunch of my straight friends smile ... so basically ..fuck 'em

I am curious as to why people who know you well are thinking this even after you have told them your orientation? confuse

I am a very quiet/shy person. I dont come in on monday talking about my dates on the weekend. Plus my office is very horny. They cannot understand the fact that I can talk to a women with big breasts and not stare. It is like a locker room with 40 yr old men who must really need some booty
