My Wife Is Mad At Me! :eek: Don't you just hate after you and your wife/partner/etc... have a nasty drag out argument, and then it's eerily quiet. The awkward silences? Me too.
We're just getting to the part where we are being civil to eachother... the polite questions and answers. So you know what comes next right? Wild passionate make up sex!!!

In reality... it was a pretty bad argument.
I really hate those the most, because, there we are... at the heights of passionate human emotions, and it's all for the wrong reasons... then that awkwardness. The awkwardness that you feel around strangers, let alone someone you've known and loved for years. About 25 minutes ago, she told me she was sorry. I told her I was too. There's a warmth about it all... still, the remembrance of the argument is still so close that you can't fully engulf the warmth of forgiveness just yet... When all is said and done - I still love her so much, though. There is no perfect relationship... but a really good one is worth fighting for. |
