No Banshee fans?

I did not start DVR'ing Banshee until the 3rd season and I had to go back and watch the first 2 seasons to understand it all...No one I know every watched it and I guess the Drama never got a strong following....The low-budget Drama had some of the best action scenes and intense Death scenes we've seen in TV in years...The behind-the-scenes-Crew did their Magic....I Love the ENTIRE cast but Lucas (Lead Character) was my favorite character because he was the nowhere-Man...I mean, Lucas was not sure what he was searching for in Life but he knew his past was totally DEAD...He was so Lost and wanted to hold on to a Woman that had her own crazy-issues along with hating her own past life that included him..I felt sorry for Lucas, I felt sorry for the whole Damn town....The Drama is not as depressing as it sounds...LOL......I hate that Cinemax only gave them 4 seasons...The Drama is definitley worth checking out...

I wouldnt call it low budget at all. Takes a lot of money to look that cheap, and put out that much blood.

I'm always game to try out a new series that a pay network produces, whether Prime (Mad Dogs), Netflix (Bloodline), or a channe like Cinemax.

I sort of like that it was only 4 seasons. There is only so long they can keep going with him hiding who he is, and them robbing military bases or something to get money. The season that ended with him and the tribe of Indians fighting was one of the best. And Job being kidnapped was a great cliff hanger. And in season 4, you had to look or you'd miss finding out Lucas Hood's real name.

I think the few prison flash backs in season 1 or 2 were rather riveting as well. For me, the ending of the whole series was done right. It was one of the few times I felt okay letting a series go. No cheap tricks like The Sorpranos, or cop outs like Dexter. Even Nurse Jackie ended right where it started, which gave it a full circle moment, and showed just how fucking flawed Edie Falco's character was to the core.

Banshee is an excellent series.

I started watching it last year and got off track. I'll have to go back and rewatch. I found it very entertaining.

Yep. Haven't seen the last season though.

I watched it initially because I know Ant Star as he's a fellow kiwi from my town and wanted to see how he pulled off the roll. I thought he was really good in it.

I'm always blown a way when Foreigners nail the American accent...When I heard Anthony speak behind the scenes he was NOT "Lucas"...LOL.....Anthony nailed the accent and the role....

Oh man, it really is the shit! I liked the African too. I think my favourite was Joan Clayton. The new season is sooo good
