*Hey..as I was pondering about the penis piercing I just seen Saturday night..I was wondering, how many of you orgers are into piercings, like would you like to pierce or what do you have pierced? I'm getting my eyebrow pierced next week-if you have it-does it hurt? lol It was just a thought..Or if you don't have anything to say..what do you think about people who have massive amounts of piercings?*

I've got five in each ear and my tongue. I'm considering my nether area, but like you, am a little nervous about it.

• Earlobe (1994)
  
• Navel (1995)
  
• Nipples (right nipple pierced 1995 and healed 1997, both nipples pierced 2002)
  
• Tongue (1996) (I no longer wear any jewelry in it, and while the piercing is still there, it has gotten so small it's pretty much invisible)

I have only one closed earlobe piercing from high school. In retrospect, I'd have never gotten it.

I respect the arts of piercing and tattooing on others, but I'm just not the man for either. I wish my body were as pristine as the day I was born.

I do have friends, though, with an array of piercings. I've even been published in Gauntlet's defunct Piercing Fans International Quarterly. (If you haven't seen this publication, check it out. It was the international BIBLE of piercing for years!)

I've seen just about everything from throats to foreheads to gums to the entire length of a guy's penis pierced (a ladder), but I think the coolest piercings are subtle and stand-alone -- A single Prince Albert, ear cartilege or nostril piercing look crisp and clean, IMHO.

I have my ears pierced and nothing else!

I have 4 in each lobe, making for 8 total. I did 6 of them myself, and they're all very straight and even, but I only wear two earrings in each lobe now. I'm trying to get the other 4 to close up.

My housemate used to work at afterthoughts - it's like a Claire's - and she said their piercers were 'trained' after they practiced piercing a sponge and then got one of their friends to come in to be pierced by them.



I've also got my left cartilage done - stupidly at Spencer's with a piercing gun. LONG story, don't ask. It still hurts sometimes (when I don't wash it, when I sleep too much on it, when I wear headphones too much) even though I got it done a year and a half ago. It looks neat though, and I am glad I got it done, even though I wish I had gotten it done with a needle.



I got my right rook done about a year ago up in Berkeley. It's gorgeous though now I'm looking for a ring, as right now I only have a spiked barbell.



I had my right nostril done in October and though it was expensive, I love it. VERY painless and low maintenance.



I was thinking about a tattoo but that might wait until the summer. I've been toying with the idea of getting my left tragus done for a while now, just to even out the piercings on my head.



Piercings are lovely but incredibly addicting. Don't go overboard!!

One Asian girl in the mag had about 8 piercings -- including a standard-sized padlock -- on her clit, vaginal lips, etc. One of the guys had a series of barbells through his penis, the tip of which was sliced in two and cauterized (the theory being that increased surface area increases pleasure). Some REAL heavy stuff!!

However, the pic is the same, albeit with BME's logo superimposed on it. I think they posted it in late October 2002. If you're viewing thumbnails of the pics, I think the caption below mine indicates that the piercings were done by Billy at Metamorphosis in Indianapolis.

Eyebrow piercings DO leave nasty scars that are quite noticeable.
