Es cierto, generalmente las personas de habla inglesa al hablar español, no tienen un buen acento; creo que a ellos les cuesta más trabajo sonar como hablantes nativos de español que a nosotros sonar como hablantes nativos de inglés.

De dónde eres?

De la República Checa cool

Y cómo es vivir en la República Checa? cómo aprendiste Español.

Me gusta aunque pienso que podría ser mejor. No obstante, ningún país me parece ideal...

.

Lo aprendí en la escuela y la universidad. Vivía en España ocho meses durante los estudios y por eso tengo el acento andaluz. También escucho a Bebe, cantante y guitarrista andaluz, qué acento duro ella tiene...

Sí, nací aquí y he vivido aquí casi toda mi vida.

.

La lengua oficial se llama checo, es semejante al ruso, por ejemplo. También aquí viven muchos eslovacos y poloneses, pero las lenguas las comprendo poquito.

.

Guay, tú sabes a Bebe biggrin No sabía que era tan famosa.

Es un país democrático, una república parlamentaria. Quizás te interesará: https://es.wikipedia.org/...ica_Checa. No lo he leído completo, es posible que hay algunas faltas, pero me parece suficiente.

hey Peter,

.

the good thing (in my opinion.. & I always say this) about learning/speaking French

is that it's the SAME ALPHABET as English

& really, almost half the words are similar/the same as English

(with, of course, a slightly different pronunciation):

.

restaurant

hôtel

hôpital

problème

télévision

rumeur

décision

etc.

.

the biggest challange for native English speakers who learn French

(from my experience)

is that you have to learn to NOT pronounce consonants at the end of most words.

that takes some time, but it's not

IMPOSSIBLE

("impossible" means the same in both languages..)

.

presuming that you do speak Spanish, you're already used to objects having gender.

French is of course a Latin-based language - like Spanish - so you'd have no problem saying

"la table"

"le jour"

"la raison"

le groupe"

etc.

.

like Americans are everywhere in the world

(you can't fall down & not "hit" 1 of them)

the same is essentially true with the Frenchies.

.

where ever you live in the world, it shouldn't be too DIFFICILE to find at least a few of them walking around..

.

bonne chance!

Thanks, Alexa says that for the native English speaker the pronunciation of the "r" in french language is quite difficult. For me it's not, but of course i'm not a native English speaker.

My eldest son had no interest in learning Spanish, even though his mom & I are both fluent and he was in a Spanish-English Dual Language program from 1st grade up to 6th.

But in Junior High he took Italian and LOVED IT.

Ciao!
No, come mai pensi che sia del nord? smile
Sono nata in Sardegna, la seconda isola più grande del territorio Italiano, quindi sono sì Italiana, ma ho un carattere molto isolano wink
Comunque vivo a Roma da più di 30 anni...ormai sono Romana di adozione, ma torno spesso in Sardegna dove ho la mia famiglia d'origine e un mare meraviglioso.
E tu? Cosa mi racconti? Come mai parli Italiano, di dove sei?

A presto!
