NASA lit a fire in outter space. Human technology as we know is not friendly and destructive to our own enviroment. the chemicals and so forth used in machinery, aircraft ect as we know is destroying our own atmosphere. we havent yet mastered technology in our own atmosphere, so could sending human made chemicals and so forth into space be detrimental to the greater universe? NASA just lit a fire in micro gravity. given the total disregard for the planet, human and animal life when conducting testing on earth (e.g under sea neuclear testing) I highly doubt precautions were taken for life and so forth in outter space.

You do know the sun is basically one big fireball, all the stars are too? I think the universe can handle it.

it could be a great horror movie though. call it 'spark', and tell the story of how embers from the fire somehow ignite the oxygen in earth's atmosphere, resulting in a potential extinction event unless heroic astronauts can do a firefight in the stratosphere!!

Too bad about global warming and the hole in the ozone layer that burning man made chemicals caused. has nasa studied the atmosphere around where they are burning these gases to make sure they are eco-friendly? considering it is not done on earth i doubt it is done for outter space.

Your comment that the universe can handle whatever man made burning chemicals we put into outter space is very much inline with the argument people make on earth about said chemicals e.g "the planet can handle it, just look at how nature renews itself" you applied that same logic and argumemt to the greater universe and it's eco-system as you keep pushing back on my suggestions that what is bad for earth may also be bad for the universe. unless you are versed in micro-gravity's eco system and what it can handle and how it works, as i am not. If you believe that fossil fuels are killing earth why wouldnt it also do the same to other enivorments?

obviously because the Zenoptian Space patrol cleans those things up, silly. just because we cannot see them doesn't mean that a cosmic chain gang of miscreants and backwards thinking infinite beings is not chained together, cleaning waste from the galaxies.

Seems you believe there's some connection to climate change deniers and NASA, maybe you should read up a bit on NASAs views and where they stand. The current warming trend is of particular significance because most of it is very likely human-induced and proceeding at a rate that is unprecedented in the past 1,300 years.1 Earth-orbiting satellites and other technological advances have enabled scientists to see the big picture, collecting many different types of information about our planet and its climate on a global scale. This body of data, collected over many years, reveals the signals of a changing climate.

Question the comment that we have a detrimental effect on the greater universe and be accused of being a climate change denier. Talk about a leap of literally universal proportions. The scientific illiteracy demonstrated here never ceases to both amaze and shock me. The greater universe? Just wow. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

Do like the rest in your position and go get yourself a ticket to a tapping of Bill Maher's Real Time where you can revel in your mediocracy and laugh the pain away at whatever failed career your just slightly above average intellect stopped you from achieving that is the cause of your constant over compensation. I'm sure the people you constantly pick at would not have been the epic failure and waste of resources and opportunities that you are. You are just another failed intellectual come walking dictionary incapable of an original idea, thought or innovation with an epic chip on its shoulder.
. Now do you have anything to add to the legitimate question of whether NASA studies the enviroments it dumps human waste to see if this could have an impact on potential life, organism and eco-systems in the greater universe (e.g The moon or other planets we dump NASA waste) If not. should they?

[Edited 6/30/16 7:15am] Deary me. Someone's rattled. What's with the constant projections and assumptions about people you don't know that forms the basis of your modus operand? It's like a sad need you have to define someone into being something you can truly justify hating to yourself. Over time, you've decided I'm fat, a failure, a bigot all without knowing anything about me. Come on Hausie. I think Israel has a right to exist in peace and prosperity. Surely that's enough for someone of your ilk to hate me enough without making me a fat biggoted failure too. Oh I'm sorry. Am I using words that are too big for you? A failure? No darling. I had a poor upbringing, no further education and run my own very auccessfull business. How much money are you making? I'll make no baseless assumptions about your success or lack thereof because I know nothing about you beyond your awful views and I, unlike you apparently, don't base my opinion on someone's value on their professional prowess or intellect.
