Suck a big fat dick Mark Zuckerberg!

I'm locked out of my facebook account through no fault of my own. I get this message.

Your Account is Temporarily Locked
We’ve detected suspicious activity on your Facebook account and have temporarily locked it as a security precaution.
It’s likely that your account was compromised as a result of entering your password on a website designed to look like Facebook. that is bull crap, I haven't had to login anywhere in over a week. This type of attack is known as phishing. Learn more in the Help Center.
Over the next few steps we’ll walk you through a security check to help secure your account, and let you log back in.

I have one of two choices to get back in. Answer the security question "What was the last name of your first grade teacher" which I know but it doesn't match what they have on file apparently. Or I can provide the first six digits of a credit card they have on file which expired in 2014. I no longer have it or any documents that came with it. I know it is a visa because the last four digits match an expired visa on my amazon account.

The first six digits are supposed to be the same for every variety of card, except some where only the first four digits are the same. I don't remember exactly what kind of card it is. I've been trying these but it could be one where the 5th and 6th digits are random.

Facebook has no live customer support. I did find a contact form for people having trouble logging in but I've seen posts of people saying they haven't had a reply from them in weeks. I wouldn't be suprised if they tell me the first six digits don't match even if I get it right at this point. bored2

Why do Facebook have your visa card details in the first place? They certainly dont have any of my bank/card details...

I suppose because I used it to buy items on facebook games. I've heard if they ask for your full card number and cvv, that you have malware. But since they have the last 4 digits of an old card that I can confirm I've had, I assume it's their "kind" way of giving me an alternative security question.

I'm curious to know why people use FB - I still don't understand what it is - why exactly does all of humanity love it so much......? What can you do on it?

The only use for it as far as I can see is if you have friends who live abroad, it makes for a convenient method of communication. But even then there are alternatives. I have a Facebook account but I havent used it in 3 years and I don't think I ever will again.

I prefer to communicate with my loved ones the old fashioned way. A lovingly handwritten note sealed with a kiss. And tied to a rock and thrown through a window.

I use it to play songpop, the best game in the entire world. I have over 100 opponents and it was a lot of effort to get so many quality opponents. Being locked out of that is what pissed me off. Plus there are some very good groups to join on fb.

Could you explain a little of what "songpop" is?

it's the game in this short video. Except if you play on a computer instead of a mobile device, you have to play it on facebook.

Anyways, I've reconnected to a lot of the same players through the songpop addicts facebook group. So it's not the end of the world.

Oh its amazing. What it does is allows anyone to very quickly make loads of new friends. You can have hundreds of friends. Friends who'll be there for you when you need them, they'll hold your hair back when you vomit, cover your shifts if something comes up, plan surprise parties for you, look after your pets, kids and let you use thier HBO password.

I deactivated my Fakebook a year ago.

I'll probably log into it again one day - to delete it for good.
