does the sun/tanning beds really age your skin?

Does the sun and tanning beds really make your skin age sooner ? This spray tanning isn't working out .so I'm thinking about going to a tanning salon and laying out in the sun this summer but then I heard that it will make your skin age lot quicker .I'm 26 now but get told I look 16. I wanna stay that way but I am tired of being a pale child .any people who tan regularly can give me their opinion or advice ? Do it age u ? I know it causes skin cancer but I plan on using SPF

Yes. I don't know anyone who spent significant time sunning when they were younger who did not eventually end up with leathery skin with the texture of a rotting grapefruit at a relatively early age. I embrace the porcelain. My younger sun worshiping sister has lines in her face you could drive a truck through. Pushing 50 here, skin is baby smooth, not a line in sight. When you're a middle aged hag like me, you will be ever so grateful if you don't sun damage your skin.

My decision to rock the porcelain look was also influenced by the loss of my brother at a young age to skin cancer.

I don't spray tan, but according to friends who do it religiously, the trick is finding a quality spray tanner, and that's not always so easy. Some suck and leave you orange.
Murica: at least it's not Sudan.

I can't see your profile picture, though.

(Meaning I have night view enabled and everything looks orangey)
