How badass is Lady Lyanna Mormont??? clapping She's the first girl I've seen that I want to acknowledge as a woman. Got more balls than any man in the room. I couldn't help smiling hard when Jon was declared King of the North. As excited as I was, I couldn't help but to also see Littlefinger's displeasure at the scene and Sansa's concern about Littlefinger's next move since HE intends to be on the Iron Throne. It actually seems quite silly at this point for him to STILL be after Iron Throne and we know that he's well aware of Daenerys coming through. Well get in line Littlefinger, you may not make it there. In the end, it's going to be Littlefinger vs. Varys.

Ain't she awesome? I'm kind of curious where her story ends up.

Can we speak on Jaime? He didn't seem too pleased at all at what he saw when he arrived back (Got played the "speed" game on us several times again in this episode) in Kings Landing. Wonder if their relationship will change next season. Hell, will Cersei turn on Jaime too in her attempt to remain in power? Well one thing's for sure, its a wrap for her when Daenrys arrives. Yes ma'am.

Jaime's seen what the Mad King almost did to King's Landing. And Cersei actually did it. He was moved to kill the Mad King. Where does he go now? And with Dany riding on them, will there be time to choose?

In my eyes, Jaime and Cersei's relationship has been slowly deteriorating starting with Jaime's capture by Robb Stark, to his hand being cut off, to him being held captive by Brienne (and later falling in love with her), only for him to return and help Tyrion escape his execution, not knowing that Tyrion would kill their father. All of these things, Cersei has frowned upon. Jaime certainly isn't the same man we saw in Season 1, however, he still has to answer for his early brutal decisions. The ironic thing is, the one woman who he has a high respect for, who loves him for who he is, he can't even be with...but perhaps should be with. He'll more than likely end up having to fight her in the end.

I surely want to believe that Jon and Sansa have a deep respect for each other, but dare I say that those two were kind of looking into each other's eyes a second too long? I know it's sick, forbidden, but this is GoT where anything goes. And you know how fine ass Jon has a thing for red heads. Just sayin'.

The more chilling look was between Sansa and Baelish after Jon got crowned. Littlefinger told her she had a choice -- become Queen of all of Westeros as a full-blooded Stark, OR watch her half-brother stake the claim for Winterfell. She was tempted, but stayed loyal to Jon. Baelish sensed her jealousy when Jon was crowned. Could Sansa pull an Anakin and be seduced fully to the Dark Side? hmm

I see it as Sansa's chance of being Queen, as told to her by Littlefinger, was to be at his side. It's another form of manipulation of course but I trust that Sansa is seeing right through it and will continue to do so.

How badass is Lady Lyanna Mormont??? clapping She's the first girl I've seen that I want to acknowledge as a woman. Got more balls than any man in the room. I couldn't help smiling hard when Jon was declared King of the North. It actually seems quite silly at this point for him to STILL be after Iron Throne and we know that he's well aware of Daenerys coming through. Well get in line Littlefinger, you may not make it there. In the end, it's going to be Littlefinger vs. Varys.

She's named after Jon's mother, and she basically made Jon king. Remember, Sansa's dream from Episode 1 on was to be Queen of Westeros. Baelish knows that. She still wants it, I think. Baelish knows Dany's coming, but he don't know Dany like that, and with the Imp and Varys at her side, my money's on Dany. But who knows?

I'm not sure Sansa still wants to be Queen of Westeros...I would think she would prefer being Queen of Winterfell and she'll get her wish once Jon becomes King of the Seven Kingdoms. wink

Poor Daario, not only did he get gently dumped, but he's not even taking the trip to Westeros like he expected. That surely sucks. I'm guessing this is the last that we are going to see of him. It was hiliarous when he said "this was the dwarf's idea, wasn't it?" spit Yep it sure was and guess what, she's listening because she wants her power and she's going to get it. So if that means you have to be left behind, then so be it. Now onto Tyrion and Dany...another two who were staring into each other's eyes a second too long. lol I expect that we'll see Mormont next season too and mysteriously healed from the greyscale disease.

She was honest with him. And Tyrion just loves to believe in something, perhaps for the first time in his life.

That was the best "It's not you, it's me" conversation I've seen. lol

And finally, it's been confirmed that Jon Snow is in fact, Jon Targaryan(sp). Both a Stark and a Targaryran. Wow. So he's Daenerys nephew then right? hmmm

Wellll . . . I think that's safely presumed, but did we hear all of what Lyanna told Ned. If she married Rhaegar, she legitimized Jon, meaning Jon has an even greater claim to the throne than Dany, the younger sister.

I had to read up on the houses again, Dany is Rhaegar's baby sister, so that means that Jon would be her nephew...but still means that Jon has a greater claim to the Iron Throne ahead of her, as you said.

Now the number of alliances are growing. Oh snap, next season is going to be the ULTIMATE season for GoT!!! We only have 12 months y'all until the REAL game begins!!! excited

10 months . . . don't be adding time to our wait! wink

doh! Oops I'm sorry!!! My mistake.

The pieces on the Game-board are finally starting to move closer together. As usual, Cersei lacked the foresight to deal with Olenna before she -- and House Tyrell's food, troops and cash -- got away. So she's now with Dorne . . . and Varys now has them on board with Dany. Meanwhile, K-I-T-N Snow/Stark/Targaryen is coalescing the North, with the new Three-Eyed Raven there to help battle the Walkers.

All these moves are being made without many of the players knowing what the others are doing.

Yeah, Season 7 is going to be off the chain!!!!

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

What a great finale, i thought Cercei would burn the whole King's Landing, but she did not, and such a shock the Tommen's suicide. Now, with her son's death, Long live the Queen. She is my favorite character, she's such a great one.

After the last (amazing) episode I believe that the only hope for Britain is if Queen Cersei negotiates the terms of Brexit.
Amazing episode and, for a series which has been (rightly) accused of sexism so many times it has the strongest female characters ever: Cersei, Danny, Arya, the new kick-ass Sansa, Lady Mormont, the Martell and the Tyrell women...

The "little birds" had been mentioned by Varys for several seasons. I don't know if Qyburn made them more ruthless, but I wouldn't be surprised if they'd always been killers.

There are hints of Pycelle's darker deeds in the show, and the books apparently lay them out. But he went out brutally, and that had Cersei's fingerprints all over it.

Remember when Sam went all Belle-inside-Beasts’-library last night? Sure you do, because we were all like, “coooool!” Well, while your eyes feasted on those gorgeous mile-high library stacks inside Old Town’s Citadel, there was something HUGE you may have missed.

HOLY CRAP – it looks like we’ve been seeing Old Town’s (specifically the Citadel’s library) chandelier, light-reflecting things THIS WHOLE TIME!!!

Now, we don’t know about you, but we’ve always wondered what exactly that glowing orb in the opening credits was.

And we’re sure you’ve noticed before that there also are several moments when lenses appear to “focus” in on the different areas of the Seven Kingdoms map.

lenses game of thrones gif

But what are these magnificent golden orbs actually? They seem to reflect light throughout the library. And, clearly, they’re on cables so they probably move around. Are they giant magnifying glasses that the maesters use to keep an eye on the Seven Kingdoms with? Are they just super fancy chandeliers? How does one maneuver them? Will Sam be an expert maneuverer the next time we see him?!?

These golden orbs must be SOMETHING important to have such a prominent place in the opening credits. The question now is just: what? And we’ll be eagerly awaiting the answer for the next 10 months.

Until then…have fun Sam (just don’t forget about Gilly and baby Sam.)

Cersi did not want her child to be harmed. That is why her son was blocked from leaving the castle.

She finally gets a win in a series of loses. But in doing so has alienated Westeros from the rest of the world. Danger Will Robinson!

Little finger will try to unite with Cersi, so he can be King.

Visually, the best GOT by far.

Well, I know the people of King's Landing are terrified of her now, given her walk of shame and what they did to her. And like they said with all her children gone there's nothing tethering her to her humanity. So she may be Mad Queen Cersi now.

True to form, she never does. Her strategies always backfire on her, and this explosive move will backfire explosively, if not tragically, because her throne is her cage.

Agreed. My predictions: Cersi facing defeat from the rest of the world attacking, will be like a cornered animal and do anything to get out of it. Including blowing up the entire city just like the mad King wanted to. Forcing Jamie to kill his sister. Taking over as the leader, he will be forced to fight brie to his death.

After the defeat of the white walkers the Dragon queen marries John Snow. His brother becomes King of the North.

Agree with most of your predictions, especially with Daenerys ending up with Jon Snow in the end despite them being related, however, the idea of Jaime being the one to end Cersei isn't far fetched....but remember Cersei and the Mountain are still on Arya's kill list. There's a strong possibility that Arya will get to them first before anyone else can.

Cersi's character is too big to go out without a full on dramatic end. From a writers point of view Arya wont kill her. I also have been told that part of her fortune being told when she was young was that all 3 of her children would die and that her younger sibiling would kill her. She always thought it was the imp. It will be Jamie-even though he doesn't want to.
